When does hormone dumping stop?

I'm 6 months out from my surgery. And I'm exhausted from the hormone dumping. When does it stop? How can I make it stop?  I've lost 100 lbs and it has slowed down.  I'm 11 lbs from my goal weight.  I have no appetite and still rely on protein shakes most of the time with the occasional meal. Taking all my vitamins and supplements too.  I miss my sex drive!  Is there an end in sight????

Ideas? Suggestions?

That might be a question for your surgeon or a doctor.  I'm not really that familiar with hormone dumping.  Maybe someone else knows more about it.

I've never heard of it, either.  I know hormones can go all wacky with rapid weight loss.

not to speak for her but i think she's referring to the estrogen thats stored in the fat cells and as we rapidly loose in the beginning we dump the estrogen big time and have the hormone fluctuations, perhaps?
Yes there is an end in sight.  Congrats on your 100lb loss, but at 6 months you need to be eating more food and less shakes.  I know you have no appetite but for your health, you need to try to start incorporating more food in. I literally had to set the alarm on my cell phone to remind me to put FOOD in my mouth or it would be 6 or 7pm and i hadnt eaten all day.
I didnt take the time to look at your profile, so i have no clue if there is any more info there about you, such as age, etc. However, you may want to consult your gyn about this as well to see if you need bloodwork and hormone level tweaking.
wishing you the best
