The Journey 11/14
Well, yesterday I hit the farmers market and the grocery store and stocked up on things that are good for me. I'm adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet and trying to avoid the bad carbs.
I've decided to not worry about protein so much - not that I'm not eating protein, just if I want a salad for lunch, I'm having one and not fretting about the lack of protein. I am also going to get back in the habit of at least one protein shake a day.
I went to bed last night at 9:15 p.m. and slept until almost 6 a.m. That's a lot of sleep for me! I think I could have slept a little longer except for my gut pain that wakes me up all the time.
Tomorrow I'm taking off work. My daughter has doctor appointments for all 3 kids, and she's not comfortable handling all 3 at once (Rhys is 2 weeks old today). I asked my boss if I could come in late and he said, "No. But you can take the day OFF!" So, that's what I'm doing!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

You are doing great, I have been seeing you starting to bring a plan together and that is a great step!! I think adding more f/v in your diet is wonderful and healthy too! I at 7 years out still have a protein drink in the morning; its easy and I can drink it on the way to work. Simple Lynne just keep things simple. Listen to your body or hunger if you want a salad have the salad, make your food enjoyable...after all we dont eat much so make it worth your time!!
