Dallas/Richardson Hematoligist DR for iron infusions

I am trying to find a Hematologist that does the iron infustions in one big session or perhaps a couple of 4 hour sessions..

Right now, the Hematologist I go to wants to do 15 weeks for once a week appts..hard to fit this in with work and picking up kids from daycare etc..not to mention costly.

Ive read othe posts on the main/rny board that some drs send people to like a Cancer facility etc..and they just get hooked up and get a big session..

Does anyone know of any DR's that offer  the longer sesstions  ?  would love to find someone near medical city dallas,,,which is by my job at the high 5 central/LBJ

My hematologist is Dr. Michael Savin at Medical City. I really, really like him. My husband sees Dr. Barry Brooks who is in the same practice.  As to whether they will do the type of iron infusions that you're wanting, I don't know. We're seeing them for different reasons. I'm sure you can see them for a consult. 

I do not see Dr. Savin for an issue related to WLS but my husbands' issue did encroach into the WLS territory and Dr. Brooks was great help even though his bedside manner tends to be a bit...gruff. I got the impression that Brooks had worked with WLS patients before though I could be wrong.
