Might be moving to Houston, need advise

I just got a job offer from a company in Houston. I only have one day to find a place to live, before i move my stuff out there. Can anyone give me advise on nice and convenient neighborhoods to rent apartments in. I will be working in zip code 77041, i think it would be considered NW Houston. Any advice would be appricated. Thank you

Just wanted to say, "Welcome". I work in zipcode 77041 but my address is Katy. I haven't been in an apt in over 15 years so unfortunately, I can't help you there. What I can say is DON'T get an apt in zipcode 77041...lol! A girlfriend of mine owned a townhouse around the beltway and gessner and loved the area. I do know there are apts in that area as well.
