So how did you really do? Sunday Edition

So how did everyone do today?  I know many of you went to the conference this weekend (BTW which was wonderful) and have been traveling home...but we still have to be accountable!!  I don't care what some doctors say... we DO have to log our food and monitor what we eat.  If you ask anyone that has had a regain they will tell you any of the following:
1.  They stopped doing a food journal
2.  They stopped eating protein first
3.  They strayed from support groups/forums
4.  They stopped getting on the scale

Disclaimer: Please be honest with yourself here about how you really did! This is not a thread telling others how they should eat or passing judgments on others… but this is reality. Sometimes reality bites… we are all human and no matter how good our intentions may be at the beginning of the day. Life gets in the way and we all face temptations! It happens to everyone. So this journey is yours… own it, learn from it, and move on to the next day!!!

Was at the convention but I too was so busy especially Saturday (in a good way) and so I did nto do bad with food EXCEPT the non food calories I consumed last night. But it is back to the plan for the week

I can say I stopped logging food, stop the protein drinks well protein at all really....was getting in very little, pulled away from support groups and I gained weight so I have to agree with Paige!!!

That being said today i am drinking a lo****er!!!!!!

B one egg over easy and a slice of wheat toast.
L protein drink
D Tilapia fillet

other than that just liquids....i did not get much water in yesterday and I can tell the differnce!  will be going to bed soon.  have to be at work about 4am and those of you that know me the most know that I am NOT a morning person!

Too busy to eat this weekend at the conference and I danced my butt off last night, so I lost 3 pounds over the weekend.  I'll admit I do not track my food, but I do still weigh everyday.  When the scale goes up, even a smidge, I cut back for  few days to get it back off.

It was so nice seeing everyone at the conference!!

Good evening Paige & TMB,

Did well today.  Mike (hubby) and I went to the movies and I actually made it through the movie without ANY popcorn.  WOW!!  That's big for me.  I would say, a little success for Lisa, because I truly believe I'm a food addict.

It was GREAT meeting many of you this weekend and I had a fantastic time at our 2011 OH Conference.

I agree with Paige....we just "got to do, what we got to do."  In my opinion, we should use "all" the resources available to us to stay on WLS game.  Journal food, feelings, activity - Plan meals - Seek support and Weigh.  Do what you got to do! Do whatever works for YOU, so long as you do it.

Although I did not post this morning and I am just now getting around to powering on my laptop..the plan was:
- Prayer & Meditation - YES
- Trip to grocery store - YES - organic is sooo expensive - OUCH!
- Healthy food choices - YES
- Quality time w/ Hubby - YES, I had ignored him all weekend due to Conf.
- Rest - YES, managed to take an amazing 2 hr. nap, it was GREAT.

Good Night,
Lisa
