The Journey 11/3
This is such a crazy week for me. As much as I love the babies, I am going to be happy tonight when they go home to sleep! I still haven't made it to the grocery store, so I am winging it on low carb choices. I haven't had much "exercise" but I am exhausted
I can really see that the key to success is planning ahead! After the conference I think I need to purge my fridge and pantry, and get rid of anything that I should not be eating. (I don't think I have time before the conference.)
I do like to keep things here for snacks for Woogie and Ivy, and most of the time I can stay out of those. I just need to NEVER buy trigger items for me.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

LYNNE-taking care of 2 toddlers is most DEFINENTLY exercise-give yourself credit!! When my 3 yr old nephew, Brayden comes to stay it takes ALL of us to keep up with him.
Congrats on your "pantry purge" plan. Of course you want to keep "special stuff" for your little ones-any good granny would. What if you used a "special" container, just for THEIR stuff-some colorful Tupperware something-that holds ONLY their stuff, that you would have NO REASON to get into, except when they are there? You could even keep it "out of sight"-like on a low shelf, where only Woogie would be able to pull it out for you.
I've been enjoying reading your "Journey" and have "stolen" some of your great ideas. Hope you don't mind!

I don't know about my "great ideas" - I've been told my ideas are not good at all, so beware LOL!

I agree with MICHELLE. ....LYNNE-this is YOUR journey. Just a suggestion: Maybe consider changing the title of your thread to "My Journey" instead of "The Journey"--then YOU can really OWN it...and it's YOURS--good/not so "good"/whatever works for YOU. I'm just THRILLED you are posting everyday and "putting it out there"
