Turgid Tuesday WLS Express!

Good morning! We have a meeting at Chris's school at 9am so we both slept in till it was time to get Chris off to school. I was going to go to work for an hour and then drive back to Keller, but that just seemed unneccessary. And I was really sleepy this morning.

We finally got approval to work from home 1 day a week. Hopefully it will start in a few weeks. Just 1 year after the pilot was done- what can I say, we're the state and we're slow!

Hey You Guys!

Doing benchmark testing today...yipee (not)! I am assigned one student. He gets to read to himself and I get to sit there and watch him. He's in 4th grade so he doesn't need a lot of "watching". I have an ARD meeting at 12:40 so I hope he's done with his test by then.

Nothing huge to report in my world- well other than my belly. It took some effort to get out of bed last night to go potty. I don't mean I didn't want to get up (which I really didn't) but it took effort to actually sit up! Dirk was like "what's wrong honey?" My reply "you try sitting up with a bowling ball chained to your innards!"

Nothing exciting going on tonite either. I guess my excitement in life is counting the days down to Houston. I am ALL about taking a road trip and getting away for a few days to be with YOU all!!!

Morning all,

Went out did my duty as an American so I can gripe for a while afterwards :).  At work and trying to cram four days of work into 3 now since I am off on Friday.  Cannot wait to see everyone and meet new people this weekend.   I think I need a second cup of coffee as the first one well, wasn't enough but other than that, just a typical day here.  Hope everyone has a safe day and stay warm.

Good morning all, said with very droopy eyelids!  Did not want to get up this morning,  Rain and cold makes it hard to get out of bed especially when you have someone so warm and cuddly next to you.  On a brighter note my work week is half over.  Just two more days then its my normal 2 day weekend.  I have to get some cleaning done.  With two hairy dogs this carpet ain't going to clean itself.  I need to find a way to attach the vacuum to the dogs and have them clean up their own mess. LOL  Not much else going on in my world.  Other than I weighed this morning and am not happy with the results.  My own fault.  I have to get this eating under control.  Back up to 157 from 154 a couple of days ago.  I feel very bloated but still don't like seeing the scale go up.  Back on track today.  NO CANDY!  Taking what was left over from Halloween and giving it away at work today.  I have an hour till time to get dressed for work so I think I am going to go cuddle on the couch for a little bit.  You all have a great day!

I am fixing to go out for my daily drive. (For those of you who may not know, I have been unable to drive due to my PTSD for quite a while. My therapist and I have finally set up a daily driving schedule where I go a little further each day - in my new car!!!)
I am up to driving (alone) to Bee Caves - which is 20 miles from the house. So, so nice to be working through this.

And then tonight - getting to have dinner out w/ two our 3 sons and my mother! And then going to hear some Blues at a great place in Austin. (LIZ/GINA - will think of you when we are there!)
