OT: I have a new grandbaby!

My daughter wanted to have this baby on Halloween, and she managed it!

My new grandson was born tonight at 7:52 pm while I had Woogie and Ivy at a Halloween carnival! His name is Rhys Quinton and he weighed 7.85 lbs - the smallest of her 3 babies.

Awesome, congratulation and felicitas!! Don't you just LOVE being a grandma!! I do! Glad mama is well and welcome to the family Baby Rhys!!! On a VERY selfishnote...do you get to go to Houston now!! Or is our new Mama going to need you more!! If she does we will miss you but thoroughly stand how Woogie, Ivy and Rhys can be overwhelming in the first week!!

Meggie, I live in Houston, and this actually may make it a bit easier for me to be at the conference. I was afraid she'd go into labor that weekend, since she was due Nov. 11. Hopefully the other grandparents will be here that weekend and they can watch Woogie and Ivy.
