I did well today, focusing on protein, following my plan, going to the gym . . .until about 30 minutes ago when the carb monster attacked.  I could make a lot of excuses but I won't.  I made the choice to give in to it.  Time to get right back on plan, no wallering, no whining.

Here's my plan for tomorrow:

B:  2 egg bites
S:  atkins shake
L:  1 cup beans and meat
S:  greek yogurt
D:  turkey patty and carrots
S:  sugar free jello cup and a tbsp of cool whip

Gym after work to walk and/or ride the bike.  It will be a long day at work but I WILL go to the gym - bag is packed and in the car already.

Ok, sometimes I go back to my post and make revisions but I'll make my dinner revision here.

B: chorizo & egg  1/2 cup w no tortillas! (was originally gonna be a protein smoothie from Smoothie Factory)
L: protein shake (mootopia/click/vanilla max protein/crushed ice in magic bullet)
D: after grocery shopping, I decided it was gonna be a meatloaf, mashed potato, green bean family dinner at home night (ended up eating just a slice of meatloaf).

So, actually I think I did better than my morning post.  Oh, and no snacking!!!!  I'm telling you these OTC prilosecs are acting as an appetite suppresant for me!!!!  Have no idea how much calories, protein, carbs I've had today but I'm down 1.6lbs from yesterday!

Here's a link where I posted on the sleeve forum yesterday and there is a real good article about it.  So, Donna if you see this, GET BACK ON THOSE PPI'S!!!!  Doesn' t hurt to try it??  Paige, yes FIt Foods is expensive but all healthy food is :(  Sucks, but it's true and thankfully we can make more than one meal out of them!

I haven't even been to the board in a few days. I'm leaving tomorrow for a 4 day sewing retreat and have been busy cooking for Beast, filling last minute Dee Rag orders and packing what I'll need.

I've been trying to get through the weekends without logging my food. We usually stay so busy I don't log then I end up trying to fill it in during the day and I always forget something. I generally eat the same things anyway so I pretty much know when I'm outside my comfort zone. But I'm always right back to it Monday morning!

That said....Yesterday I had to eat out twice. Lunch was planned with a GF. We went to our favoite sea food place and had dry baked redfish, grilled veggies. After we got through visiting I met Beast at his gun range to play a bit and we decided to eat before going grocery shopping...always cheaper that way! So we ended up with Mexican food. I worked 8 tortilla chips into my day, had chicken fajitas, refried beans with red sauce. So at the end of the day it really wasn't bad.

Today was very light with my regular chai tea pre-B, and cottage cheese and strawberries for breakfast. Lunch was a slice of deli roast beef cut into strips, sauteed with onions, and served on a piece of toast with melted Havarti cheese on top. I love that Pepperidge Farms Very Thin wheat bread. When toasted it turns really crispy, almost like Melba toast.

Supper tonight was fruit and cheese. Beast loves strong cheese so I had just a small sliver of his sharp smoky cheddar with half a Honey Crisp apple, 1 plum with about 1/4 slice of Havarti cheese.

I'll have another chai tea later on for a night time snack and if I stay up past midnight I'll have a small bit of cottage cheese and a couple of strawberries before bed. I've figured out if I eat this protein with a little carbs before bed I sleep better and wake up feeling great.

I really do like this idea of reporting how we really did at night....I'll play.
