The Journey 10/24
Yesterday started off really well. For breakfast I had about a third of the largest omelet I've ever seen in my life (Meat Lovers at 59 Diner) with about a tablespoon of grits and a nibble of biscuit. We had lots of errands to do and then Woogie stayed with me all day. He was "starving" on the way to the Farmers Market so we stopped at Red Robin and I had about half of the "petite" salad with grilled chicken, walnuts, apples, and goat cheese.
Later we went to the grocery store, and at the check-out stand, there it was. A display of HEB's brand of organic bbq potato chips. I love that flavor! Yes, the Carb Monster attacked! I bought them, took them home, and ate the whole thing. (Not quite as bad as it sounds, it's a fairly small bag.) (But still bad.)
Needless to say, I was not hungry at dinnertime. Later I ate one of the mini-bags of popcorn.
I will do better today!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

BBQ chips are a huge trigger for me. When I was pregnant with my 1st child, I ate a huge (before the bags were downsized) family sized bag each and every day. By the time she was delivered at 6.5 months (premature) I had gained over 60 pounds. So....the bright side of your story is it was one of the really small bags. I hate to admit though, I often stare at those stupid chips at the store.
