Happy Hump Day TMB!!! Here we sit just a few days away from our next weekend....WhooooHoooooo~
I know years ago when I was on the TMB we had a wonderful lady that would post Questions of the Day...this post always was fun, let us all kinda get to know each other and build our friendships, it sometimes makes the "lurker" come out of hiding...LOL
Lets give this a try and see what happens....just a few questions today
1. Are you pre-op or post-op?
2. Are you planning on attending the Houston OH Event?
3. Do you belong to any local support groups, online support groups?

I am so glad to be back on the TMB and looking forward to making new friendships and offering support when support is needed...Oh and this oldie needs lots of support....LOL

LOL I guess if I'm asking you all to play along I guess I need to to...LOL
1. I am 7 years post op and still very thankful for my tool
2. YES, I am planning on going to the Houston Event...I have always found that these events keep you motivated and grounded...I remember the first event that myself and several other help pull together in Arlington many years ago, just cause the TMB peeps wanted to meet each other....Please if your having any thoughts on going think positive and do something for YOU and GO...your surgery is your personal investment....
3. Right now I belong to several online groups
4. My mood today is .....Focused and happy
5. I have wonderful plans this coming weekend; I am going out of town with my YaYa's and heading to broken bow for a retreat at a place called "girls gone wine" to help support breast cancer awareness; I am looking forward to our weekend of friendship, fellowship, and yes a sip of wine...

4. One word the describes your mood this Hump day? Relieved. Norma had an EGD done yesterday and her gastro tightened up her stoma. She thought it would only be day surgery and planned for such but wound up in the hospital overnight.
5 Any fun weekend plans? Need to get some things done on the "Ponderosa". How fun they will be is debatable!

1. Are you pre-op or post-op? I am about 2.5 years post op from lapband surgery and I have lost just over 150lbs.
2. Are you planning on attending the Houston OH Event? I will be attending the OH conference. This will be my 3rd conference but my first as and OH support group leader!!! Looking forward to seeing many of my support group members there as well as my friends!
3. Do you belong to any local support groups, online support groups? I belong to several online groups both here on OH and on FB and attend the Memorial Herman support group here in Houston as well as being an OH leader for my "Main"stayers support group. I started this group for people who are past the "honeymoon" stage!
4. One word the describes your mood this Hump day? Hopeful
5 Any fun weekend plans? Not sure what my plans are... but I do plan on getting up early each morning to head to the park for an early morning walk/run. Then on Saturday I have my "Main"stayers group and we are hoping to go to the Renisannce Festival on Sunday if the weather is good.

3. Do you belong to any local support groups, online support groups? I used to lead the Terrell Troopers support group with my pal Mel, but moved away. I am part of several FaceBook Groups and trying to come back here which is home for me!

5 Any fun weekend plans? My grandson Charlie's birthday party on Saturday afternoon and whatever we can do with Bill's big ole boot and hurting ankle!
