What Labs to have drawn?

Where can I find the list of labs that need to be drawn 1 yr. postop and to be followed. The Dr. gave me a list for CBC SMA-7, Vit B12/Folic Acid, Vit B1 , Calcium, Fe,FeBinding/Saturation, Ferritin.   What else?.

Nov. 5 09 Lapband revised to Lap RNY. Down 100lb.s Osteoartritis in control ,Sleep Apnea resolved,HTN resolved, Lymphedema very well controlled. Just left wit lots of skin and bulging veins in legs. Down from 26W to Misses 14. Wish I would have known this would be so good.

These are the suggested labs for RNY post-ops.  The codes are not important look and have your doctor review the test name, some codes may have changed and vary by location (unsure why).

Here are the ones that my doctor just gave me last week at my 3 yr post-op follow up appt. to have done at least 1x a year... I usually have a complete Gastric bloodwork up at least 1x a year min - unless I'm having issues inbetween..............then we'll check.

CBC with Differential/Platelet
Comp Metabolic Panel (14)
Copper
Folate
Hemoglobin A1C
Iron and TIBC
Lipid Panel
Methyltmalonic acid, serum
PTH, Intact
TSH
Vt B1, B12, B6, D, 25-Hydroxy
Zinc, Plasma or Serum

they gave me diagnosis ICD9 codes to use so that the insurance would pay for it...

Thanks everyoneforthe replys. Just got my tests back andeveryting looks good. Iron saturation is still a little lower than normal but goin up. Vit D is great and somelevels are more than needed but that is because I take my vitamin faithfully. My PCP was not keen on doing all of the ls that were suggested. She said it is over kill. I'm finding Dr.sdon;t know much outside of their specialty. I may have to change Dr .s to  get my levels monitored correctly. What kind of Dr do you see besides you rbariatric surgeon?  My surgeon requires the basic labs.
