Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K and 10K-Ft Worth

If you're going to be in Cowtown for Thanksgiving, please consider joining my son, Corbin, and I in the annual "Turkey Trot". It's held in west Ft Worth-early Thanksgiving morning, and benefits the YMCA. The early registration is only $20 ($3 extra if you want a timing chip). I was just gooing to register for the 5K, like I usually do, but had a brain fart and signed us up for the 10K instead-it's less than half the distance of WHiterock 1/2 marathon a couple of weeks later, so figured  had better get on with it. Gina I will be here for Thanksgiving but I can't do it for two reasons:

1) we are going to already be doing 2 Tgivings! One with kids and 1 with mom,sis and maybe my brother (haven't seen him in about 8 yrs) and was invited to 2 others and want to stop by there!!

2) Every time I have sighned up for one of this things I end up in the hospital the week of!!! I aint going there!! Family, boss and Dr D would kill me if that happened!!!

 We travel for Thanksgiving, so I won't be able to Turkey Trot with you.  At least not in Fort Worth.  I'll do what I've done for the past few years and run wherever I am that morning, so I'm with you in spirit, and sweat!

LL-I didn't ask you ahead of time, cuz I figured y'all would be in Arkansas. The first thing Corbin asked was "Will LORALEA and TRACEY be there?" Deanne FB'ed me and is considering it.
