Meggie for the picture to show you can right click on the picture, copy then get in the message block right click and paste.
The thing to remember the picture has to be hosted somewhere (OH pictures, photobucket, flicker, yahoo, etc.) it can't just be a picture on your hard drive as others won't be able to pull it up.
