Tuesday WLS Express
I'm alive and well in Raleigh. For those of you who didn't follow my near breakdown last night, this hotel is SCARY and I am moving out TODAY just as soon as my new place has a room ready. At this point I don't care if it's the broom closet. I'll go sit at Starbucks and work if it comes down to checkout time here and they force me out before a room is ready at the new spot.
Had a good meeting with my client yesterday, even though I wasn't totally prepared due to the last minute notice that I was going to be the only one there representing our team. Then, the bad news came that the project manager wants me to stay here for another meeting on Wednesday. Wouldn't be so bad, but the meeting is very late in the afternoon and I can't get a flight back home until Thursday morning. I'm usually pretty flexible, but I came here thinking I'd be going home tonight. I had to run out and buy a articles of clothes and I didn't pack any extra meds, etc. That'll teach me!
I also registered for the conference yesterday and was able to secure a room at the conference location, thank you HiltonHonors Diamond Desk! So, beware and watch your cameras - Mel & Jodie will be on the loose ala OH Dallas September 2009 style!
Better get logged on for work & get my stuff packed up so I can bail out of here - hopefully sooner rather than later.

I am getting an early jump on the train today, taking the dog back to the Vet to get his bandage changed this afternoon this will be the third trip so I will be glad when he gets his stitches out. Church is having a revival so plan to go their tonight. But for now it is time to go to work.

Big plan for today includes the usual day off laundry, dishes, grocery shopping. I'm trying to slowly gather up some stuff for my jewelry booth at the conference. Only having one table is not going to be big enough. I might have to put out different stuff morning and afternoon.
We finally RSVP'd to the Halloween bash in Joshua. Not sure if we'll do costumes but we're gonna try to be there cuz peep time is so important!!

Hey You Guys!
Busy day ahead...no rest for the weary...lol
I need to finish up this mountain of paperwork they call ARDs and evals. I finished testing yesterday and still have one more to do today. I also need to write both of those reports up. 7 more evals to do before I can go on maternity leave...no pressure (whatever!) Only 6 more ARDs before then though, so that's not too bad. At this rate I will be having this baby in July! (talk to God about that one for me will ya'?!?)
Over the weekend we bought the last goat for the season. We may still buy one or two more pigs. Mrs. McDonald had a farm EIEIO...and on this farm she had.....4 pigs, 3 goats, 1 horse, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 chickens and Zoey the confused rabbit! (and 10 more chickens are on their way!) The man at the pet/feed store told us that "Zoey" was a girl. A few weeks ago, Zoey let himself be known to two horrified girls that he is indeed a BOY! We figure he's probably angry that we had him all confused and is working out his masculine aggression at this point. Since we've had him for a bit and no other name seems right we just call him "Mr. Zoey" now.
Gotta get busy!

Yes it has been along while since I posted. My friends are getting me motivated to try and post daily. I have been lurking but just not posting.
I won't be able to make the halloween party this year, it is Baylor's homecoming and I have tickets for the game.
I need to get back on track. I have been stress eating. My husband has been really ill and I handle it the way I alway have handled problems....eating. Even when it hurts to eat that hasn't stopped me.

Fixing to be a long day - have to finish up two chapters on Child Abuse and Prevention (Not a fun class!) and then study for two finals tomorrow.
