October Accountability Tuesday
Good morning,
I have to admit I don't excercise regularly and when I do it is walking the dogs. I have been trying to wear a pedometer and trying to get in at least 5k steps a day. I work from home so it's hard to get in alot of steps unless I do get out and walk the dogs or go shopping.
My plan for today
B: Egg and toast with SF Jelly
L: Grilled Chicken
D: Not sure yet
S; 100 cal snack pack or fun size snickers
64 oz of water

Guess those exercise DVD's don't work if they stay in the box, do they?! I need focus here. I, too, am on my feet all day and do a lot of walking with my job. So I guess that counts somewhat. But, no, I don't exercise daily.
B: 2 boiled eggs
L: greek yogurt with fruit
D: baked chicken with roasted butternut squash
S: SF dark chocolate pudding with some chopped pecans

Janet, It's hard to get into the routine of exercising regularly!!! What's important is to find something you enjoy doing and someone to do it with!!! Then you will find you actually miss it on those days you can't do it! (BTW I have so many DVD's that I haven't even used... not once!)

Hello everyone! I know I should probably be posting in the morning but at least I am participating! As far as exercising goes, I try to exercise 5 days/week. I prefer to go in the mornings around 7am-ish and do 30 mins of cardio and 30 mins on weights. I workout Tues-Sat because my Mondays are too hectic for me. Sunday could be my "off" day and I could squeeze in a tape while my hubby is snoring. I work out at the YMCA and it's perfect b/c it's on my way to work. I take my gym bag, do my thing, take a quick shower, get dressed, and off I go. I've tried to go in the evenings but it's too crowded and there's too many people and I can't get on the machines I want to without waiting. It is a change and it's hard to get up so early in the morning but I do it. I try to change it up a bit and catch Zumba on Fridays or any other classes that tickle my fancy.
My plan for today....
B- protein shot with crystal light and emergen-c
L- fish and mac & cheese from Luby's
D- chicken & salad
S- protein shot with crystal light and emergen-c
I wanted a little comfort food my day has been super stressful. My mom had surgery this morning on her leg for vascular issues and I'm putting on an educational workshop in Houston this weekend and 3 doctors cancelled on me @ the last minute. EEEK!

It doesn't matter when you post... just as long as you post!!!! Sounds like you are doing a great job with the exercising! Wish I could drag my butt out of bed early and get my exercising out of the way... but I get up at 4:45 the way it is just to go to work!!!

It doesn't matter what time you post, just that you DO post!! Sounds like you havea lot on your plate and your schedule is working for you!! Just keep at it!! I understand exercise is a great stress reliver, rarely tried it myself. I guess all those years being forced to take at least 1 varsity sport and 2 elective sports a year in HS really turned me off to exercise. Your doing what I need to work on! Maybe tis should be my new project!! keep up the good work!!
