God morning! PAIGE-Have you had time to utilize your new pedometer yet? Do you know how many steps are in a mile? I know it depends on your stride, but I'm trying to get a ballpark figure.

My food plan is pretty repetitive, for the time being, but my son and I buy our meats, then cook/measure/package them, in meal portions for a week at a time, so we stay prepared-makes packing lunch , and eating dinner,so much easier

B: Green tea

L: Beef patty with WF bbq sauce, cucumbers

S: Orange

D: Chicken/salad/strawberries/WF raspberry dsg

S: Dr. Cracker flatbread

E: One hour power walking

All vitamins/water

I've only tried it out on the treadmill... and it seemed to be pretty accurate.  Probably won't have a chance to try it out at the par****il Saturday!

I don't do any formal exercise programs but do walk 9-11 thousand steps a day just at work. Doc says that counts. I also do heavy lifting and stairs putting away stock and cleaning. Yes I do dress fancy for work but part of the job is stock work cleaning and rearranging the department and keeping it fresh. i don't just stand at a register and wait for customers we go after it!!!

plan today:

yogurt and grapenuts
Ham sammie
protein bar
protein drink
sf oatmeal cookie... get them in the bakery dept at Target, they are awesome but give you hellacious explove gas so we eat them only at night or my day off!!
sf banana bread w/cream cheese
pot roast for dinner

I think we all underestimate what we do in a day!!  It all counts!!!  Good to see you eating food again!!!  How are you feeling?

Thanks Paige! Feeling good but I have my moments. My liquid pain meds I got spilled into my purse which my purse sucked up(it was fabric)my phone and camera were soaked (camera didn't make it),lipsticks now make my lips numb. Took the whole mess to the pharmacy so he could see it really did happen. He didn't tell the doc why I need iit refilled and it was declined all weekend and yesterday till I could get ahold of docs office and explain. Of course I got sick sun and was totally screwed!!

All is well now! So glad to see so many veterans on the board again. They have all been sorely missed! Take care of you!

 Good Morning All,

Thanks for this post, Paige, your awesome.

I had a good day yesterday.  I managed to stick to my master plan for the most part.  I sure am glad to see your comment this morning about being "one step closer to the weekend."  My weekend start on Friday.  I took the day off to spend it with my daughter, Vivian.  I CAN NOT wait.  I have plans  to take her somewhere fun & maybe even squeeze in a picnic.

Exercise  - I don't ever just wake up "loving" the idea of having to exercise.  Motivation is a daily "choice" for me.  I just make the decision to do it and just DO it, even if/when I don't want to.  Once I"m done, I love that the way I feel after-wards, plus I'm glad I did it.  Another thing I do, is switch it up a little everyday.  Yesterday I spent some time on the treadmill, today I'll go for a walk at the park.  So long as I move rather than sit on my couch, I'm good.

Today's Plan:
- Prayer & Meditation
- Vitamins
- Lots of water
- Healthy/Planned Meals
- Stairs at work
- Walk @ park
- Sleep

Have a nice day,
Lisa

Lisa, It is a daily choice... all of it!!  We choose to eat right or not... we choose to exercise or not.  The choice is ours!!!  We are ultimately responsible for our success... no one else can do it for us!  We have to find that motivation in ourselves!!  Way to go!

Sounds like you will have a wonderful day with Vivian on Friday!!!  Enjoy it!

It is day two of my "get back on track "plan. Did not have the energy once I finished my 5th and 6th grade homework to excercise much so I did situps and toning work and MUST when I get home. I did pretty well yesterday though did have to eat a few grahm crackers in the afternoon as I got shaky but I did get in 96oz of liguids on top of my soups and protein drinks and all my supplements as well. I knew these next few days would be rough but very worth it!!! Today plan is the same but to make it without the "extra helps"

Have a great day!!!
