Tyler area support groups

anyone attend a support group meeting in the Tyler area?

Check with Dr. Babineaux's office but I think there is one that runs at ETMC on the third or fourth Monday, or Wednesday, of the month.  Never been myself but my ex-wife has done a couple of them.

Do you know if they allow another surgeons patients to attend their support group meetings? The meetings through my Dr office are on Monday at 6 which just isn't possible for me. Have to work late on Mondays. Any other day of the week would work fine. LOL just my luck.

I used him for my bariatric surgery as well as general surgery....he is great....

I believe he has info on his site re: support group times...I dont get to attend as they are 2+  hours away.

thanks for the info Tara,I'll check into that. I have several friends that used Dr Babineau, but he isn't covered on my insurance, nor is ETMC.

ETMC isnt covered under my insurance either...I have had all of my surgeries at Trinity Mother Francis....and ive made it just fine....lol

I looked for some old paper work with the dates and times of support groups but didnt find anything...

A call to the office will get you the info you are looking for....
