Good morning,

Not much going on here.  I took the dog to the Vet to get bandage changed this morning and have to take him back tomorrow afternoon. Thought I would jump on the train before I start back working.
Weekends go by too fast.

Hey You Guys!

Hopping on for a few minutes while I can...crazy day (of coarse so- its Monday!). I have so many ARDs to finish writing up and get sent in. I also have three evals to finish this week. Then I have another three ARDs this week alone. I am desperately trying to make it through October. I only have one-three evals in Nov and three-four in Dec. Once Oct 29th hits I am on the downhill slope to January.

My glucose testing came back perfect. My liver panels came back perfect. My abdominal sono came back fine. I went to the maternal-fetal specialist on Friday and he said I was boring and didn't need to come back anymore. That's great news!!

Blake weighs 2lbs 9oz and is 1week, 5 days ahead of schedule as far as growth. He is in the 75 percentile for his size. The sono tech said he has chubby cheeks. I no longer need to be monitered by the spcialist and he released me to be seen by my OB from here on out. I go back to her in a few weeks. I can't believe how fast everything is flying by!

Today one of my kiddos that's mentally retarded pointed to my belly and said "baby?". I guess I am officially showing, or rather- huge! . I've had kids that I don't know stop me in the halls and ask me.

Hope everyone has a blessed day!
Love you guys!
Tracey

Shoot - if ya'll let Mel ride this train, I guess you'll let anybody on!  Just kidding, love me some MEL!!  Glad you got back in your account.

I'm in Raleigh, NC today & tomorrow.  Went into a client meeting this morning blind and managed to dance my way through.  Had to come up with some creative answers, but overall I think it went well considering I thought 2 other colleagues, including the project manager, would be there.  Didn't find out until late yesterday it was going to be a solo flight.  Life of a consultant!

All is well in my world.  King is doing fantastic with his weight loss.  He's down close to 70 lbs in his first 4 months!  MEN!!!  He's got about 20-25 to go to be where he wants to be. He's got such a large frame he doesn't really need to get below 200, which would give him a total 100 lb loss.  We're shooting for 215-220 and will see how he feels & looks there.

Good to see the train is taking back off - maybe the board is going to come back to life again.  I know I don't post often, but I try to at least check in daily to get all the happenings.

Here's to a good week!

Okay, looks like old timer day on the train! I'll ride along too today. Not a lot going on, other than continued worries about my Dad. I have had lots of people ask for updates, so I try to post them on FB. It's hard to have to to tell the same story over and over, especially here at work. Some try to respect  my privacy and others don't have a clue! One moron asks me at least 2-3 times a day! I am trying to be nice, but I snapped at her Friday and said look, I dod not talk to them everyday becasue they are not getting any rest in the hospital, so I have to wait for an update from my sister. If I know something, I will let you know, okay? I pissed her off and she won't even make eye contact today!  Okay, that sounded really *****y huh?

Bill and I are venturing out and trying some new veggies. Had Acorn Squash yesterday...ehh, I  could do without that one. I have a recipe for Butternut Squash Soup, so since we seemed to have turned into soup freaks lately, it may work for us  I'll let yall know, it's supposed to be kinda spicy.

Getting ready to plant our Fall garden if I can talk our neighbor into helping me plow. I can use the tiller, but it eats my lunch! I'm ready for fresh greens!

Okay, well, I'm gonna try to make it a point to at least come to the train each day...I know I have been very absent!

If yall would say a prayer for my Dad and my step-Mom...they are both beyond exhausted! I'll update when my sister calls, she is there in Little Rock with them now.

hugz,
Gina L

Gina Gayle-are you going to make the squash soup from scratch? I love the butternut squach in those square, cardboard box packages. I can't remember who makes it, but it's really good

Hey Gina Gayle,
I made the soup last night and it was all from scratch. It was Yummo too! I have the recipe if anyone wants it. All I know is that if I had known there was packages of the butternut squash, I would have gone with that. Peeling and cutting that damn thing nearly put blisters on my hand...that is one hard squash. Of course the sour cream, tortilla chips and cheese that are used to top the soup are less than WLS friendly, but at least I used low-fat sour cream, 2% cheese and not a lot of chips!

Hugz,

Hopping on in hopes of getting to know the TMB better!

Yesterday I was running fever all day, so I stayed home today.  Been fever free, but will probably stay home tomorrow too as I have a DR appt for a followup from last mammo.

We have week old puppies (6) that are growing like weeds.  So fun to watch the babies grow.

Emily, thanks for hopping on the train.  It REALLY is the only way to get to know us and for us to get to know you.  What kind of puppies?  I raised 2 litters of PUGS and loved every minute of it.  Get to feeling better-report in tomorrow!!
