In need of food suggestions...
I've been looking for recipes that will allow me to freeze portions. There's a diet and nutrition forum that I noticed that has lots of recipes.
Last week I sauted onions and garlic, then zucchini, roma tomatoes, and mixed it with pesto, and a small amt of pasta. It freezes well. You could add chicken to it.
Soups freeze really well.
If you cook your own food then you can control the salt, sugar, and fat. You could put beans in a slow cooker in the morning, freeze the portions, and then add whatever you want.
Beans are high in protein.
I don't bother soaking them overnight. I just go ahead and put them in the crockpot on low overnight. Or on high during the day and they're done in a couple of hours. (remember not to salt them while cooking-they'll get tough)

I used to and need to get back to it but one of my favs was to take frozen shrimp and toss it in a zip lock with 1 t ****tail sauce - if you put it in your purse or a small lunch bag it will thaw by the time you are ready to eat, half a turkey burger with lettuce onion and pickle and a pack of mustard works too
if you are not into baking/cooking look for hungry girl brand or label stuff -it is not wls oriented per say but works well for me - yogurt in a small container low carb and low sugar - 50 calories worth - add 1/4 cup frozen fruit and one T each chopped nuts and grape nuts and it is a nice meal an hour or two latter - the fruit thaws and it's yummy and sweet when that is what you want
if I am doing fast food I get the McDs angus wraps and toss the tortilla - if I am sitting there with my kids I get a side salad and cut the meat up into that.

I find all the frozen meals have too many carbs for me. I bring protien bars for snacks. I put protien powder and soy milk in my decaf coffee. I will pack cheese cube and deli meat in baggies. Sometimes I eat them with Kashi chedder crackers, sometimes I take turkey pepperoni and microwave it for a minute and a half on some paper towels, and it makes them crisp like crackers. But that doesn't keep well, so it's not good doing it the night before. I bring hard boiled eggs, carb controled or plain Greek yogurt with sweetener and cottege cheese mixed and add a little Kashi high protien cereal on top right before I eat it. Tuna packets, Ostrim meat sticks, Dixie Dinner brand low carb muffins made with added protien powder and flax seed. I do have to really watch the carbs during the day because if I get too many I want to nap all afternoon, and my boss wouldn't be happy with me if I did that. I also have to watch the fruit because if I eat too much fruit or don't pair it with enough protien, I'll dump too. Eating out fast food is hard because of the fat, carbs, and sodium. Wendy's chilie is good, but if I eat out, it usually has to be a nonfast food place.
