Thankful Thursday WLS Express

GOOD MORNING! What are you thankful for today???

Morning! Today is my second White Cane Day event. I'm one of the planners of the Fort Worth one. If anyone wants to go, meet me at the Fort Worth Lighthouse for the Blind at 10:15am! It should be fun and free lunch afterwards! I'm in charge of the exhibit booths- several community agencies will be there to talk about their services. Should be fun.

Today I'm thankful for many things, but esp my family. My husband is an incredible incredible man who I love and cherish. I'm going to miss him as he leaves tomorrow and won't get back till the 23rd. I opened my mailbox yesterday and I had a letter from my sister. It was a card with a beautiful angel on it and on the back she listed all the ways I was an angel in her life. It was so unexpected and wonderful.

Prayers for Robin's son and Phyllis's nephew. Tracey- I hope the testing went okay yesterday and that all is well. My sister in PA that is pregnant - delivered Emily a month early due to preeclampsia- is starting to show some early signs of it again with this baby. She's only 7 months pregnant so I'm praying that she doesn't have it this time.

It was a lllooonnngg three hours yesterday. The syrup stuff made me so nauseous but I kept it down. In between one of the blood draws I had a sono so they could look at my liver. I've had a pain high up and it lasted all day Tuesday so they wanted to check things out. I've never had pre-eclampsia issues so I am hoping that its just round ligament pain. Preliminary reports say just round ligament- I will get the liver panel stuff today to know for sure though.

Good morning all! I am thankful for my HEALTH. Without it, I couldn't do ANYTHING. I am also thankful for ERIC KLEIN, the founder of Obesity Help.com, and hs vision all thse years ago. Nay say-ers can say "he's just in it for the money". WHATEVER! His vision saved my life and brought me lifelong FAMILY, and I will be forever grateful to the man.

Busy, busy day today, so better keep moving forward...y'all know I love you!

Thankful, like Gina, for health and family otherwise today I am up WAAAY too early this morning!  Taking advantage of it and after breakfast making a Starbucks run to Tyler since I have to tend to some things in Athens but the place won't open till 08:00.  Other road trip today is to take the dog to her cancer vet for a follow up on her pancreatic issue from a couple of weeks ago. 

Morning all!  I'm very thankful for a loving husband who is willing to get up in the middle of the night to help me out.  At the moment, I'm also very thankful for the sling that Danni made me.  I can use it to carry Natalie around when I'm too tired to hold her and she desperately needs to be held.

Not sure how today is going to turn out.  We have a meeting early this morning with the lactation specialist, then we're going over to Grammy's house for a while.  Natalie has been up since 3am, so I haven't had much sleep tonight, which means I've got to work some naps in today as well.  I will be glad when we're past this part of the baby stage. I know there are many more "exciting" challenges ahead of us, but sleep deprivation makes me cranky and I don't like being cranky. 

Oh well, lets see, what else am I thankful for?  Family and friends that give me encouragement, a job that challenges me and also allows me time to take care of family, a home that we love, cars that at the moment are not causing us problems.  The list goes on and on, but it does help improve my mood to remember all of the blessings in my life.

good morning.  I'm thankful for my family and friends and a job that I enjoy most of the time.

Busy day at work for me, then a family/friend dinner tonight, plus packing for Aggieland so I'll be ready to leave tomorrow.

Good morning!  In a rush this morning but wanted to stop by and wish everyone a wonderful Thursday!!!

I'm thankful for my job, I'm thankful for my job, I'm.....  if I say it often enough will my ruby red slippers take me away from here??? LOL

I truly am thankful for my job, my family, my WLS, my health, and my faith in God that keeps me going when the going gets rough!

Today I am especially thankful for new drugs and new ideas on my pouch issues and the fact I dont need IV feedings anymore!! And I have lost most of the weight TPN made me gain!
