TUESDAY WLS EXPRESS
Not much else going on here. Bryan leaves Friday for work and will be gone 8 days. I'm going to decorate the house for Halloween this weekend. I've got a White Cane Day walk in Denton Wed and another one in Fort Worth Thursday so I'll be out walking alot this week. Its to bring awareness of blindness during Disability Awareness month this month.

I've been reading and posting on other posts this morning so I am about out of time for the train. I need to go pick up a group of kiddos in just a few minutes. Today I am feeling very pregnant. I am having some major round ligament pain. It's to the point that it takes my breath away- yikes. I talked to my OB yesterday about it and she said its all very normal. I am supposed to rest, take a hot bath and a few tylenols. Well I can cover one of the three while I am at work. They don't think highly of speech therapists taking baths in the breakroom bathroom sink here...go figure.
I did my glucose test yesterday and am now just waiting on results. The drink stuff made me sleepy but thats all- thank goodness. I have a Level II sono on Friday with the maternal-fetal specialist. He is monitoring Blake's growth because the umbilical cord didn't attach in the right place. I go Friday then I will go every wee****il he is here in January sometime. I will ask on Friday if the attachment makes me have to have a ceaserean after all. Sometimes umbilical cords can detach during delivery and I am not going to take that chance at all. Being a specialist, he can let me know for sure. Right now they are just being proactive and making sure Blake continues to grow like he should. They don't think anything is going to hinder him, but they are being cautious. If he outgrows what the umbilical coard can supply then they will go ahead and take him early. Not a probable scenario, but its good to know that advanced medicine nowadays can monitor it. I have one more thing on my "have to buy" list before he gets here, so I think we are in good shape. In case you don't read facebook- I finally bought a Petunia Picklebottom Diaper Bag, I had gone to a consignment sale a few months back and saw a few and thought that it was way too much money for a diaper bag. Little did I know that it was the coolest diaper bag of all times and that someday I'd really want one...lol I've been to a ton of other baby consignment sales lately and haven't run across a single other one for sale. Sunday I just sucked it up and bought the one I wanted online.
The next item on my "have to" list is a bassinet from Pottery Barn Kids. There's not a whole lot of things that I have truly splurged on. I figure someday I can pass some of this stuff on down to my grandkids, esp the bassinet. There had been a bassinet in the family that's been passed down since my mom. Unfortunately it burned in a fire a few years back. I am hoping that this one will replace that one. It won't have blue paint where my Grandmother painted it for my uncle 57 years ago- but maybe us kids who slept in it three generations down can pass a new keepsake on.

WOOOHOOO for Tuesday! I was just looking up a good word for Tuesday and Alissa beat me to the post, LOL Oh well, I'll save my word for next week! Ms Becca Sue is growing so fast, she's started crawling and pulling herself up on things, walking won't be far off I'm sure! She's also very entertaining, with all the little sounds and gestures and so inquisitive about new and different things! I'll try to post my newest favorite pic of her as my avatar if I can!

Good morning!!! It's back to work today after my 3 day weekend! It was a great 3 days and feel like I got a lot accomplished! I decided to experiment with some new recipes... a few turned out great and only 1 nasty one! Felt like I was getting in a rut and nothing has been sounding good so I'm hoping these new recipes will at least help me get through lunch!!!
Didn't exercise yesterday because I got a bit sidetracked re-landscaping the front flower beds. It was a great time to do it as a local nursery had a 70% off sale!!! Now my brown thumb just has to keep them alive!
Excited today for Danni as Tim will be reunited with his family this morning!!! Thank you Tim for serving your country!!!

Good morning all-here, as promised! What's with all this crap in the air??? I couldn't even wear warpaint yesterday, and what I've put on today is already itching and running. Is it SPRING and I got confused???? Part of it may be from the walking Corbin and I have been doing (like in Trinity Park, around all that green stuff), but, if this keeps up I'm gonna be able to audition as Alice Cooper's sidekick (you youngsters will have to google him)
Busy day planned-work, work, work, then Keno tonight--and I'm feeling LUCKY--so I probably will NOT win a single thing...

We Can Do Hard Things
My long weekend is over and I am up earlier than normal, guess I got plenty of rest. I work from home so getting up this early is out of my normal routine. I have to drop off one of the dogs at the Vet to have a growth removed before I start working. I am going to have a challenge on my hands since the other dog is going to want to go an will try to dart out the door. Guess I am going to have to trick him in some way. Tonight is my SS class meeting if I don't forget.
Well got to get dress and get the dog ready to go.
