TUESDAY WLS EXPRESS

Good Morning Everyone!

I have been getting ready to start school so I have not been able to post lately.  My first day of school starts tomorrow and I am so excited and at the same time scared out of my mind!!  I am soooo scared I won't be able to cut it with all these youngins.  Can this dog really learn a new trick??  I sure hope so I need to be self-supportive and move out on my own and get away from my ex.  We have been sharing expenses, but he is getting too possive now.  I have a friend(male) I talk to and he gets upset when ever I do.  I can't stand that!!  we are not married so who does he think he is??  My husband??  Fat chance I make that mistake again!  Oops, sorry just venting.

Anyhoo, I am doing really good now.  My pouch is better and the stricture is better and I can eat solids now, yippee!  I am making good choices and that amazes me.  I fully understand now why eating the right foods will make a difference in my recovery. 

Need to have breakfast, exercise, then off to the doctor for a check in.  Hope everyone has a great day!

 Morning Alissa and TMB,

Not much going on here today.   I am FINALLY feeling normal or as normal as I can LOL from the crud that I came home from the cruise with.     I am going to call our local college today to complain.   My youngest son gave up a scholarship at UTA to attend TCC NE to take guitar.   Seems his crazy and I do stress CRAZY teacher last week belittled him and told him that SHE was doing him a favor by being there at 7 AM to teach him.   He had to deal with her sitting in her car till he got there or locking herself in her classroom and not letting him in till she was sure it was him !!!  Then she insisted that he buy a $150 guitar ( he has a $700 ) one already and another one also.   UGH Anyway he said he had had enough of her crap and he dropped her class last friday after she told him all this.    I am POed to say the least.    He is so talented and she is STUPID !!!!  So I am going to either call or go up there and file a complaint.   PLEASE no bashing me over this.    I am not telling all that the crazy woman has done and said.    She is the kind of teacher that gives them bad names.  Trust me.....he has given alot up to attend that college !!!  Other than that not much going on today.   I may try to find more of my fall decorations and put them out.   I did put a few out last night.

Grandkids are great, and their new brother will likely be here within a couple of weeks. I love that this apartment has a garage - makes me feel much safer than the old one where I got mugged! Baby Ivy called me sobbing last night because Woogie told her there was a "bad man" at my apartment (I think he was referring to the mugging) and she had to talk to me to make sure I was okay. She has such a tender heart - she got upset at a tex-mex restaurant because they had a bull's head mounted on the wall!

I remember a restaurant like that when I was very little called El Matador and the Bull head was so huge.  I was scared every time we went there.

Good morning everyone !!

Not much planned here - literally -   a couple of us girls are going to Mercado Juarez today for lunch.       I'm hoping to stick with something simple -   fajitas - would be a good choice - huh?   quesadillas - maybe ?         there will be no chips and salsa for me there -  I don't care for theirs and they don't serve cheese sauce for free - so I'll do good there !!

Not much else to say.....just working and tonight is a  Tuesday night after a MOnday Holiday - will be busy.

Trying to finish up my next lesson on Death and Dying. And then my next lesson on Child Abuse Prevention.
Yes - I am taking some really depressing classes this semester. I swear my last semester (Spring 2011) are going to be all fun classes, except my practicum which is going to be in the jail substance abuse treatment program in the nearby county. (Unless I can find something else - really wanted to work with adolescents in recovery....)
Had brisket w/ cheese for breakfast. (Leftover from last night - Rudy's Barbeque is great - first time I had had it.) Going to have same for lunch, I am sure, Dinner is going to the grocery store and eating samples while we do 2 weeks of shopping including stuff for baby shower for my granddaughter Kimi - due any day now!

I'm riding the late train today but I promised Gina I'd hop on so here I am.  I spent 5 hours jewelry shopping toay and got some fabulous stuff to bring to Houston with me.  Now it's time to start some laundry and then unpack what I bought.  Hope everyone has a great day and even better tomorrow!
