GOOD MORNING! Its Friday! Woo hoo! Hop on board and grab a seat in the party car- it will have games and fun and then at 5pm it will start serving your favorite adult beverage. Speaking of-what IS your fav adult beverage??

 I'm up way early and doing the ritual Friday dance.

Up early meant I had time to whip out a batch of the baked protein cookies that seem to go over so well at SCA events.  That means after work I only have to come up with dinner, bake banana bread, cook bacon, finish sewing my outfit and pack.

Of course I was wide awake at 4:30 and now sitting on the sofa with my tummy full of oatmeal I've got the sleepys coming back on.

We'll have to be up and at em tomorrow and on the road between 5:30 and 6:00.  I'm determined to come home tonight and burn through all I can so I can be in bed EARLY.

Glad that it is friday.   YEAH !!!   Also glad that the crud is leaving me and I am starting to feel almost normal again.   I hate the crud !!!  LOL  Not many plans today.   I have 2 little ladies to go and give one a haircut and the other a shampoo and set.    Other than that I haven't got any other plans for today.    I don't usually drink adult beverages.   My favorite though was strawberry daiquiri.    Have a blessed day and great holiday weekend.

Not working today but do want my check, and to pick up the paper with address of where I need to go in Plano tomorrow, so quick trip to office.  Then turn around and head to Tyler to get my car serviced and get me some groceries.  Have to study for test tomorrow too.

Do Starbucks lattes count as "adult" beverages?  Found out long ago, and the hard way, that Don and alcohol were not meant to go to gether.

GOOD MORNING -      speaking of Good Morning -  I just heard a FANTABULOUS song on KLUV this morning...........Hey Hey Hey - What a BEAUTIFUL Morning.........This is my Beautiful Day !!  I LOVE THAT SONG !!   Got me going and got me to thinking...

IT IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL MORNING THIS MORNING.   I'm on the 14th floor of a 16 floor building in downtown Las Colinas.........I can if I want to go take a few steps and see the morning sunrises (when I get here by 7am in the morning)............but  NOT EVERY MORNING !!    I am only at WORK by 7am when I have to make up time..............
Anyway -  HOping that you all have a GREAT day !!   MAKE IT A GREAT DAY !!   We can decide our own fate each day if we choose too....
What IS your fav adult beverage??  I really like Pina Coladas too - but they are just too sweet at some places and can't handle them very well....     Prior to WLS -  it was Coke and RUM...............thanks to High School Friends this Summer:    DIET COKE AND MALIBU RUM NOW !!            I felt NO pain on Friday night !!           But I was NOT hungover on Saturday morning......I was awake at 530 to watch the sun rise....Ask Vivian - I was there and NOT grumpy......... no headache either !! 

PS -  I WAS REALLY HAPPY WHEN I COULD STILL GET INTO MY 21 JUNIORS JEANS THIS AM.  I've been so down on myself with my weight gain since I got hurt.....that I tried on these jeans and could still get into them..........so that really made me happy this morning. 

Its going to be a great day!! Haven't had a "adult beverage in 5 yrs" so my drink of choice is Iced decaf americano with 5 splenda from Sbux!

I am determined to not let other idiots that I work with ruin my day ugh.  Yeah already one of those mornings, and me having to write emails using paragraphs to explain things.

On a good note, I have gone 12 hours without any tylenol for my pain, so things are really looking up there.  Although the fun of antibiotics around all of my vitamins is a blast.

This weekend is going to be yard work.  We are thinking of haivng a small get together the end of the month at our house, so I need the yard all prettied up, especially of we BBQ, even this late in the year.

Adult beverage-wow, umm Amerroto sour, beer, Goldschlager.  Now, not sure.  That is not something I have really experimented with except for 2 ounces of wine one evening. 

So glad it is Friday as that means tomorrow is Saturday and my husband and I can be together for 48 hours!

Cooking a huge dinner for him tonight. Tomorrow we are having brunch (MUMMMMM - migas) with an old friend who we have not seen for ages! Then, see my mother, do laundry, and come home and have homemade tortilla soup. Sunday is a do nothing day for me. (Not for my wonderful husband - he is cleaning our carpets for "fall cleaning"!)
