People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
Friday night is my neice Maya's 8th birthday party. Its at a roller skating rink in FW. Don't worry- I'm NOT roller skating. lol.
Prayers for all of you for a great day!
I'm feeling a little off this morning. I can't tell if I'm overly tired or what. Sleep has been good the last week so I just HOPE its not getting sick.
Love to you all!
Have appointment with primary doc this morning then work for second half of the day. Part-time job is having some MAJOR FULL-TIME headaches!
I hope y'all don't mind a 40 mile detour, round trip, this morning to the Starbucks in Ennis. I need a reward for this week! I won't be working tomorrow but have some "piddlin" to tend to. Big fun is Saturday when I have to be in Plano at 08:00 to take my state code enforcement test.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

A little up date on my pouch, I had the EDG done last Friday and have started to test if it worked. I am able to keep things down!! HOORAY!! Watch out pouch, I am going to put some healthy stuff in you now and it will be yummy!! Yes, I know I am a bit strange, but that is what makes life interesting!
Prayers go out to all who need them and hugs to all!

I am finishing up my report cards today so that they can go out this afternoon. It's been a crazy week with meetings and such. I'll be glad when the weekend gets here (not that the weekend is going to be any less hectic though).
Saturday I posted two horses on Craig's List and some people came out to look at them Monday and then wanted to test them again on Tuesday. They ended up buying them, so that's a relief. Two animals off of the feed bill just in time to add three goats, four pigs, and probably 5 rabbits. This isn't including the already 3 dogs, one cat, one horse, two chickens, and Zoey Rabbit that's already on the feed bill. When we bought Zoey the feed store guy said she was a girl. (their parts are on the inside)- the other day Zoey proved to us that she is actually a boy. I won't go into detail, but poor Bailey was a bit overwhelmed/appalled. It would explain why the silly rabbit cannot be litter trained though. No offense, but boys (rabbit varieties at least) just aren't as smart as girls and have great difficulty learning the merits of a litter box. With no hope in sight, his fuzzy butt is about to go live in the barn. Right now he is in the laundry room.
I am in charge of day care duty for the pre-k and k kiddos this year. My job consists of getting about 10-15 little ducks and lining them up and making it across a wide hallway with them. I have this one teeny tiny little guy who got lost last week while in the main hallway. Somehow he ended up with larger kids and went to the car rider line. Luckily his teacher noticed him and brought him back to the day care area. On Tuesday my little charge didn't make it across the great hallway again. I was in a meeting so the teacher who was covering for me didn't know the history and didn't know to be diligent in making sure he stayed with the group. I showed up to relieve her just about the time his daycare van pulled up. The driver has a name checkoff that she goes over everyday. I noticed at the same time as she did that this little "darling" wasn't with us. About 45 minutes later he was found riding a random bus throughout the streets of our local town. The next morning he was asked why he chose to just get on a random bus and his reply was "I lost my mind!" He and I are expert hand holders now. No more "Home Alone" replays on my watch! When people tell you they go into teaching cause it's never dull..... believe them!
Miss you guys!
Tracey

Not much other than baby stuff to talk about at this point. My day revolves around feedings, naps and getting some stuff done in the quiet times between feedings. Jeff so far is managing work, school and night time stuff, though I think he's going to need to readjust his sleep habits to survive long term.
Jeff has joined a weight loss challenge at work, and we're going to start walking together in the evenings when he gets home. I did a 20 min walk yesterday and it felt great, it would have been even better if I wore the right shoes. I'm not obsessing about the scale (much) but I would like to see some of the weight start coming off sooner rather than later. So, I've got to get my head back in the game about good, healthy food choices. Too many easy carbs came into my house and I need to restock with high protein stuff again.
Hope everyone is doing well!
