It is with deep regret...

...that I will not be able to attend the OH Houston Conference next month.  Originally, there was a Habitat for Humanity (HFH) Walk for the Homes scheduled back in August. However, due to other scheduling conflicts, HFH changed the dates and when they said November 6th...I said NOOOOOO!!! 

Most of you know that my second job is a "Professional Volunteer"  and I absolutely love giving back to my community.  Our city/parish just completed our very first two HFH homes!!!  We dedicated these homes just last week.  At that ceremony, we were notified that we are about $17K short of reaching our goal of paying for the homes completely.  I was definitely coming to the conferebce.  But after hearing this news, I decided that I would much rather stay and help to raise the money needed for such a worthy cause by participating and fundraising for the HFH Walk.   

When I checked the the other day,  both of my promo codes were still good.  If you need to obatin the other code you can send me a message. 

I am REALLY going to miss seeing such great people that I had the pleasure of meeting last year.  I pray that OH will schedule another Texas OH Conference for next year.

 Sorry you won't be able to make the conference this year.....but hey....we certainly understand and what a great cause you are missing it for.    Good luck on the walk and  you will certainly  be missed.

I know Stephanie...I missed your get together and now this.  My plan was to be there but after the news that we were short, my heart says to stay here and do my part.  Hopefully we will see each other soon.  I know you will take lots of pictures.  It looks like you all had a great time on the cruise!
