Good Morning Train!

WOOOOHOOO for Thursdays that feel like Friday because I'm off to see my Mom tomorrow!  I'll be on the road early early, so someone else will have to crank up the engine on this old train.... Do any of ya'll know when the Train officially started up?  I've been riding for almost 5 yrs now.... I miss the peeps that have come and gone over the years, especially the Train Man~!  Oh, well, now back to thingamabob, my other words are doohickey, or whatchamacallit, and don't forget the every popular thingy... LOL

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

 Hey all.

Clint's interviews went great yesterday.  He called the recruiter who sent him on his 2pm interview around 3:15, just to check in and let them know how he thought it went.  He was told the company he interviewed with had already called them to say they really liked Clint.  The CEO of the company flies in Monday/Tuesday for second interviews so crossing fingers he gets an official call for a second.  In the meantime, he has 2 new interviews today and 1 tomorrow.  Yay yay!

Peggy is feeling like she is going to have a 'small Peggy day'.  I ate my usual serving of breakfast and feel wayyyy over full.  Protein shakes and soup will be the order of the day.  Protein shakes are usual but unless I feel better tonight will be soup.  I'll make a grilled cheese for Clint and he'll be happy as a clam.

Tonight after work I'm hitting the grocery store and then starting to prep food and clothing for SCA event this weekend.  We are just driving out for the day.  I'm not up to 2 nights on a camp bed yet post surgery or we'd be camping.

Oh....(edited to add)...  The words I use when I can't think of the word I'm looking for are 'whosywhatsits', 'thingie' and my perennial favorite 'the orange spinner thing' (that was from an old inside joke that I can't now even remember the source of).

Good Morning Everyone,

Today has a beautiful sunrise.  All the colors are so beautiful.  It has been a long time since I have seen the sun rise.  Thanks God for a great start to the day!!

I am a little scared about my stricture proceedure tomorrow, but I know that my surgeon will help me though this and make things all better.

Peggy, I hope your Clint will get his second interview and nail it!  Best of luck.

good morning all!! Woke up to good news! My new GI guy called first thing this morning and they can fit me in tomorrow!! It was going to be Nov before I could get an appt!! Yeah for being persistant and begging!!

Still on TPN and just doing liquids but Ken made me runny mashed taters (consistancy of soup) and they were yummy!! Work is tiring but I am getting stronger every day, it just takes toime!

Now, yall go out andmake it a great day or just fakeit!!

Sorry I've been MIA but I've been making an effort to stay off the computer so much. It's amazing how much you can get done when you aren't sitting in front of this box! This cooler weather has really kept me outside and busy. Monday it was in the 60's when I got up so I opened all the windows and turned the old attic fan on. AH...flahbacks to my childhood! I was raised in this old house and have all kinds of memories here. Standing in the hallway and having that cool breeze ruffle my hair...I swear I could hear my Mother telling me to quit dawdling and finish my chores!

I'm sure the Cruisers are having a great time!
