Saturday WLS EXPRESS
Today we're going to watch Maya play soccer-if it doesn't rain. Hope not. Haven't seen the news yet since its still before 6am. We had a blast yesterday. Well, the 3 kids didn't that had to go to school, but Bryan and I got Chris off to school, headed to my sisters. My sister Jess and I went and got pedis and then we all met for BBQ at Coopers in the Stockyard-WONDERFUL by the way. Its no wonder why they've won so many awards. Then we just hung out at my sisters and played with Emily. Bryan went and got Chris and then we warmed up the carnitas he made for my mom and sis Thursday night and had it again for supper. He makes great carnitas. Today Maya is getting her ears pierced for her 8th birthday!! Her birthday isn't till the 8th but my mom is paying for it since she's here. That will be fun. And we might head up to Sam Moon too.

Hey all...
Last night was unexpectedly fun. We have friends who are season ticket holders at Six Flags. Last night was their private party and they had coupons for extra passes for $10 (instead of the usual $54.99) so we ended up spending the evening at Six Flags. My tummy and incision site is still sore so I only rode one coaster (so hard...I'm a coaster junkie) but it felt great to be out and about and social. Plus...AWESOME non scale victory...the coaster seat was BIGGER than me...the last time I was at Six Flags I had to squish six ways of Sunday to fit...there were even some rides I couldn't ride. Clint had a great time and since we live right here in Arlington said we'll probably get season tickets for next year. Made my heart happy to see him smiling and laughing.
Speaking of Clint...thanks for all the love and positive thoughts. His contracting firm has already submitted him for 3 positions. He also got a ping from another headhunter agency off Monster and I have another friend of a friend who is specifically an IT recruiter and has his resume in hand. So....we are hoping by mid next week he'll be interviewing and back with a job within a week. That means finances are okay and we are just a little 'tight' at the end of next month. He's feeling much better knowing his resume has been submitted for jobs.
Today we are headed over to friends. Within our medieval group Clint is a fighting student or "squire" to a "Knight". We are going over to his Knight's house so the two of them can armor up and have a practice together in the back yard. I intend on spending time with his wife in the hot tub and I MAY even indulge in a ****tail (I'm almost a year out...I think I can indulge in one)

I am almost all packed for the cruise. If I waited till the last minute I would forget half of what I was going to take. LOL I can't wait to get on that ship and sail away !!! Hopefully when I get home life will be better at my house and with my sons. I am going to try to not worry about anything on the cruise but everyone *****ally knows me....knows I am a worry wart !! LOL Anyway should be a good vacation and with no one going to be able to get me to stress me out makes it ALL better !!! LOL Hope you all enjoy the cooler weather here. Sorry we are missing that but hey....I will miss it for a cruise. Gotta get going. We have Sunny Street Support at 9 this AM and then I am off running to get last minute things done. Ist Eye Care better have sunglasses ready to loan me for the cruise since they royally messed up on my lens, Have a wonderful day and weekend.
