MOVE IT MONDAY WLS EXPRESS
So, what will you do today?
And WOOOOHOOOO for Monday! I'm on board with the 'move it Monday' thingy! Did 45 mins on the recumbent bike with a good book and the tension cranked up so it was like slogging through mud. My thighs aren't complaining as much though, so it's about time to crank it up another notch. Our workplace has formed a group to do the AHA Walk this year, no, I didn't sign up for the walk itself, but in addition to the walk there's a web site where you can sign up and track your activities etc and it all counts towards your team's goals. So I've been recording my workouts there for a week or so.... it tries to convert everything you do to 'steps' you've taken, but I'm pretty impressed with how much I've done so far. I guess I've just never seen it in black and white... LOL
Prayers are going up for all that need them!
Tom Petty's American Girl is on the turntable, so everyone get up and move! LOL
Well, she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin'
That there was a little more to life somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
And if she had to die tryin'
She had one little promise she was gonna keep
O yeah, all right
Take it easy, baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well it was kind of cold that night,
She stood alone on her balcony
Yeah, she could hear the cars roll by,
Out on 441 like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment
There he crept back in her memory
God it's so painful when something that's so close
Is still so far out of reach
O yeah, all right
Take it easy, baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Ya'll have a great day my friends!

It was sure quiet around here all weekend. Everyone must have been super busy. Oh well...just a little taste of what its going to be like in just a few more days when ya'll are CRUISIN!
Today is back to work day for me. I can't say I'm thrilled...but I'm determined to make it a good day. I'm super tired tho. I didn't want yesterday to end so I stayed up almost 2 hours past my bedtime until 11:00. Boy 5:15 sure came early. I've already had my breakfast but I really need my coffee. As soon as I hit my shower I'll be able to have my morning cup.
Today we have a meeting for our medieval group at our house tonight. So after work I need to come home, finish vacuuming and sweep out the front bathroom. I'm hoping people won't be too social tonight and I can get them in and out by 9:30 so I can make it to bed at a decent hour.
I hope everyone has a super day!
Good morning all! I worked nights Friday and Saturday, then stayed up all day yesterday, so crashed and burned last night..feel like I have a hangover this morning...My "moving it" today will be getting in and out of the car, I'm afraid. My back did not apreciate my need my cruise spending money. Stupid body parts...
'twill be a looooooong week, no doubt. My packing list is written out, but I won't pac****il Saturday-maybe not until Sunday, right before time to leave. I know me..lol. The suitcases HAVE made it into the house-right smack into the middle of the living room floor...Some of the capris I had planned to take are too BIG now (yea-I know-tough problem to have, but I'll manage). I'm keeping everything as SIMPLE as possible. I just want to ENJOY my first cruise, and first vacation in a long time, and TRY not to stress too much. I'm pretty sure NOBODY is going just to see what I'm wearing....
Prayers for ERIC R and for our MEGGIE-they need ANSWERS!
Better get scooting and get this week on the way!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I am home sick today. Evidently my sinuses have decided to completely empty into my pouch and well she hates it. Hated it when I had a fully tummy, now with Gnomey she is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more picky. So I will sit here today try to down fluids to keep the coughing down to a minimum and try not to do too much housework, that I was too lazy to do this past weekend.
This past Saturday I did the Walk from Obesity, and enjoyed it. It was only a mile, but I had fun, plus my surgeon was out there. He is very happy with my sucess so far, and I go see them in a month for my 6 month follow up. I had someone take a picture of us, and I looked at myself, and was like OMG, that is not me. Now I just need to find a picture of me before surgery to compare the two. Hope everyone has a wonderful day, I am now going to go find drugs to medicate these dang allergies on.
Quick drive by as I have a ton of paperwork to complete...no surprises there. My morning started with an 8:30 ARD meeting. I hate 8:30 Monday morning ARD meetings- what's so bad is that I scheduled it! lol oh well It went well, just makes for a hectic morning.
I think we finally agreed on agreeing that BLAKE is the baby's name after all. We were all ok with it until we found out that someone that will be close to the baby growing up is also named Blake. We didn't know that this baby's name was Blake until after we agreed, so its not like we are cheating. I told Dirk that I have monogrammed stuff on my registry list at Pottery Barn Kids and he has until the first of November to change his mind or stick with it. I bought a few more baby name books Friday night and followed him around all weekend reading names out. At this point it may not be that he loves Blake but rather that he needs some peace...lol I'm not proud, I'll keep reading if I have to.
I went for my 5-6 mo check up on Friday. I am scheduled for a glucose tolerance test on my next visit and also a sonogram. The Maternal-Fetal Specialist I went to was a little concerned about the insertion of the umbilical cord into the placenta and wants the baby to be monitored for growth. It wasn't a huge issue but he recommended that we keep an eye on it. A few more sonograms to see the little guy doesn't bother me a bit. I'm not crazy about the glucose test. I'm not sure that I'll be able to drink all the stuff down without getting sick, but I'll give it a try. The next appointment will be the last one that is a monthly- all the rest will be every other wee****il he gets here.
Hope everyone has a great Monday!
Love you guys!
Tracey
