This week is why I post this thread every week. The scale hit 150.2 one day and I freaked - that is the TOP of my comfort zone. I cut back on my snacking and dropped back into the high 140's - I sure didn't want to post 150 on this thread this morning !!!! I really need to drop a couple to have more of a buffer, so I am going to work on that this week.

I agree it helps posting here, last week I had to post a gain of 1.2 so I made sure I watched my mindless eating and stuck to my plan and this week the scale was good to me. Lost what I gained last week and then some.

Whew! That was close, GF! That's also why I love this accountability thread every week.
I'm glad to be able to post a loss this week. I followed my NUT's suggestion and have increased my calories and carbs...scary but I promised her I'd do it for 1 month. I'm down 2lbs this week. BUT I have to admit I've stepped on that blasted scale every other day this week! And I reaffirmed why a weekly weigh-in is better for me. On Wednesday I was UP 7lbs! SEVEN! How does that happen in just 2 days? I know, it's had to be fluids but it still does a number on your brain. Yesterday I was down to 189 yet this morning's official weight is 190. So I've learned once again to stay off that damned box with numbers in it!

I'm late in the day but I'd like to start tracking this...so for today since I'm going to start weekly weigh ins rather than daily...today is "Day 1".
Pre-op weight 282
Current weight 164
This is 4 pounds up from my lowest weight which was a week after my latest surgery. I hit 160...but that was after almost 2 full weeks of no eating and then only eating broth. Not only am I basically on pureed 'real food' but I can't exercise right now AND, I had a bad fall Friday so I think I've got some swelling and fluid retention...my ribs hurt a LOT>
Lets see where I am next Monday. :)
