TGIF! Friday WLS Express

Good morning all!  I'm anxiously waiting to hear about the birth of my niece and nephew in Long Island!  They should be doing the C-section right now and I'm hoping both babies are healthy and strong enough not to need much (or any) time in NICU.  Mom and Dad went up there last night and are staying a few days.  I have to be a little bit selfish and say I'm really glad they are having the twins first, so that way Mom and Dad can come here for Natalie and not be worried about juggling cross country births at the same time.

Looking forward to another good weekend.  Tomorrow Jeff has a company picnic we're going to, and then we'll probably take the dogs back to the dog park for a while (assuming it's not too steamy out).  Still have a couple of minor decorating things for Jeff to do this weekend, but nothing major.  I'm also almost done with my big cross stitch project so I'm going to set a goal to fini**** up this weekend.

Happy Friday everyone.

Today is truly a good day.  I had my second post op appointment today and the last of my staples have been removed.  I feel SO much better.  Its also my Mommy's birthday today.  She's the best mom ever and I love and miss her so much.  I am already counting the days until her next visit...hard to to when we don't know exactly when that will be but probably sometime in February.

I am officially off work for 1 more week.  If I had been all on fire to go back, Hamn would have released me.  But you know what...I went back in October after my lap RNY after 2 weeks and I was shredded every day after work.  I had open surgery and I'm taking that 3rd week.  I think I'll be better when I go back if I take the extra week.

Surgeon also released me for a pureed diet.  So I'll get the taste of some real food.  He's still wanting me very conservative as 'redos' make him nervous.  Even tho it was an un-intended redo...it was a redo none the less.  So 3 more weeks...just 3 weeks and I'll be able to eat again.

I'm so happy today.  Looking forward to the Central Market group meeting tomorrow.  Hope to see many of you there.

I've been doing my best to stay off the computer...I spend entirely too much time sitting in front of this box! Tomorrow is our Baybrook support meeting...looking forward to seeing everyone, I can really use some support this week! Other than that nothing else planned but that doesn't mean crap won't come along.
