TUESDAY-but it feels like Monday- WLS EXPRESS
SO- I started looking at Halloween stuff yesterday at the store. When do you usually get your decorations out? Starting to think about a costume yet??
ALL ABOARD!
I decided Sunday that I needed to go back to the doctor because my sinus infection wasn't getting better. My head and ears were hurting so much. I did the Web Check in Sunday evening for them, and they called at 7:45am and I was in the office at 8 and at the pharmacy by 9. I got a steriod shot and a more powerful antibiotic. I just should know by now to ask for a steriod shot when I get a sinus infection because that is usually what ends up happening- 2 visits to get well.
I want to get the fall decorations down this week while bryan is gone just to take inventory. Also pull out some fall clothes to see what I've got that fits. I need some help though- I don't feel comfortable standing on a ladder getting big tubs down. Maybe I can get a neighbor to help. The house is completely clutter free right now so it would be a good time to do this. The walls look fanstatic-Bryan is an incredible painter.
He's in NY this week so its just me and Chris till Friday!

Good morning!! All is good in my crazy, busy lil corner of the world. No doubt today will be a windstorm, cleaning up messes from the weekend. I think I'll pack some extra vitamins!
My Army nephew had a long talk with my Chris about the military...and now Chris thinks he wants to join...the Air Force....who knows where THAT came from. A guy I graduated hs with is career AF, so we FB'ed some yesterday, and he gave me some great tips, to lead Chris in the right direction. All prayers appreciated, as Chris makes some choices that will direct his whole future. I just want him to explore all his options and take his time-but do SOMETHING!
I must share Corbin (my oldest) 's success. He does not have insurance, so WLS is not an option for him, at this time. He has stuck to a very strict eating plan and had lost 29.5 pounds in 4 weeks. He's only 21 ( a young 21) and works in a Mexican restaurant-you know THAT has to be TOUGH!!! I'm VERY proud of him. Many of you have known him for years and can share in my pride.
Prayers all around-for both spoken and unspoken-God hears and knows them all..
Special shout out to our TRACEY and her lil bun, and to DEBBI and her big bun, who will soon make her debut
Better get hopping-not sure the world is ready to see all this skin unclothed...ewwwww....

I'm not a big decorator for Halloween. Its not for any reason other than with my medieval group, the whole month of October is a huge eventing and travel month for me. I'm NEVER home on Halloween weekend. This year will be no different. We have an event the last weekend in September in the Houston area and will be traveling someplace in the state every weekend after that until Thanksgiving weekend. WHEW! So...no decorations for us.
That being said, Halloween is my favorite holiday so I say any time after Labor Day, get em up!
I suspect after Hermine hit land we'll have rain for the next day...maybe two. A good reason to stay home and do my best imitation of a mushroom.
