Morning everyone,
I am surprised that it is almost 7 AM and the train is not up and running yet. WOW did everyone sleep in this AM??? I decided to get it going for Alissa or Liz. Prayers going out for Kellie Mullins and her family ( their house burned down on monday evening ), prayers needed for our Meggie and Jenn along with Terry T ( who lost her Mom ).
I am so grateful for the rain....LOVE IT !!! We need it badly too. Hope Alissa's foot is still doing better ( that is great news with all the problems that she has had ). Please keep me in your prayers too. I had a total melt down yesterday with some news that I was told about one of my sons. Prayers for me too. Ya'll drive careful in the rain and have a great day today !!!

Morning everyone.
Last night was a rough night. I had unhappy tummy all night and could not get comfortable. I was up and down to the bathroom all night. It bums be out too, because I usually sleep so well during a good thunderstorm but I didn't get a chance to take advantage of it.
The storm also knocked out my cable TV and internet for the night. Tell me THAT isn't hell. Stuck on the couch with no TV, no web, a DVD player with no remote and not a single unread book in the house. I was ready to do laundry out of sheer bordeom but can't even lift a laundry basket.
Today is my first follow up post surgery. I'll get my JP drain out which I am looking forward to and dreading. Looking forward to is pretty easy to explain. I'm just dreading the potential pain when it comes out. I'm also having fantasies Dr. Hamn will tell me I'm doing so well I can move to full liquids today. I doubt it will happen...realistically will be Monday but a girl can hope.
Okay. I'm going to try to nap on the sofa. Lots of driving to do today and after my restless night I need some extra zzz's.

I am sorry you went through that last night Jenn. That is a bummer. Praying for you that when they pull the drain it won't hurt. Mine didn't hurt only felt really weird. Get some rest and you may want to take some extra strength tylenol before you go to get the drain out. Praying Dr. Ham will let you move on to Full liquids. Have a great day and drive safely with the rain !!!

Thanks, Vivian. That's my hope too. When I had mine out after RNY I was braced for huge pain but it was more uncomfortable and weird. But from what I've heard from other people is it depends on how its threaded through there and as mine is on the right side this time instead of the left I have no clue if its going to be the same at all.
I'll post when I'm back home.

Good morning! I'm up but have a sinus infection and my head is killing me. I was going to try to go to work today just because I was supposed to take tomorrow off, but I just didn't feel well enough to go. I've been dozing on the recliner-finally felt enough energy to type-and the laptop is right next to me mind you.
Prayers for all those in need. Jenn-glad you got your internet back. Hope your drain removal wasn't painful-mine wasn't- like you both said, it was just weird. VIv- prayers for your family.

Oh Man....With you driving, Viv, I'm afraid to get on the train! LOL! So sorry about you new stress..just remember whatever it is your boys are full gown and haired over...as my old granny used to say....and all you can do for them now is love them.
