Surgery time change... *sigh*

Okay...I'm happier its moved up...but I'm frankly a little annoyed at my surgeon's office.

I got my surgical paperwork 2 weeks ago.  Check in to hospital at 10am, surgery at 11:30.  Okay..fine.  Great in fact.  I can actually sleep IN for a day.

The anesthesologist just called me to check in and made a generic "See you bright and early tomorow" comment to me.  I responded with, "well...not if you are a night owl and think 10am is early".  He flips through his paperwork and says..."Wow...I have you on my schedule as first up at 7:30am".

So turns out my surgery was rescheduled and no one decided to tell me.  In fact...if not for my sarcastic response...I would have shown up at 10am...JOY!

The up side of course is....earlier surgery means less time with no coffee to get through.  Trying to focus on bright sides here...

I'll post as soon as I can.

I guess the doctor did not think it was important to inform the patient of the time change huh??  (Sarcasm there!!)

Hmmmmm.....I can almost hear someone getting their butt chewed out !!!!  I would bet it is someone at the hospital that was suppose to call you to tell you of the surgery time change.   I am so THRILLED that you got sarcastic with the anesthesologist about the time of the surgery or you wouldn't have known.    That could have been really bad if you had missed your time ini the OR.    Geezzzz !!!!!  I will keep you in my prayers tomorrow that they find and correct what is making you hurt and not tolerate anything.     Please get Clint or someone update us when they can or we will be looking for a post from you.    Take care and don't worry about a thing.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Thanks Vivian!  I'm glad I was sarcastic too.  Its that Yankee ***** coming out...I'm not 'polite' like you Southern Belles...so believe me.  There will be phone calls Friday to find out what the heck!

I'm not sure if Clint will know how to get here to post but I will post something as soon as I can!
