Marvelous Monday WLS Express

GOOD MORNING Dahling... its marvaaaahlous Monday! So hop on board!

Its the first day of school today! We successfully found a pair of shoes that met the schools criteria. They have a no black soles rule- which I'm sure because they have a new gym floor or something, but they didn't call the parents until 5pm Friday to let us know. We weren't planning on getting a new pair of shoes yet, but we started looking Friday and 4 stores later we found success yesterday afternoon.

Well I'm running late-as usual. Chris is all organized for school. He'll ride the bus today and he's as ready as he will be. lol. No, he seems excited about going.

Prayers for all those starting a new year-kids and adults too!

Yesterday was both good and annoying.  Good that I completely finished the first of my sewing projects for me.  Annoying because I got a good start into my second outfit and my serger started acting up and skipping stitches.  This would annoy me less if it wasn't freshly home from being serviced, for which I paid $150.00.  Luckily I paid for the extra part that was needed so the shop did warranty the service.  I'll be taking it back to the shop after work today.  I'm hoping its a simple fix and I won't have to leave it for another week.

Another good thing is last night was the first day in basically a week I've not had tummy pain in the evening.  And, surgery in 3 more days so...the end is near.  I'm very happy for both these things.

Tonight we have a meeting with my medieval group.  Yes, I'll be wearing my awesome new clothes.  Last night Clint and I took a huge step that may greatly change our status within this group.  Its very difficult to explain and won't presume to bore you all with the details but should things go the way we want them to I'll let everyone know what's up.  I'm excited and nervous for this potential change.

Good morning.  Good luck to Chris as school starts.  Ours doesn't start until tomorrow.  Most in our county do start up today since it's the first day the state allows school to start.

I'll be busy working on my annual ARD meeting schedules and cranking up Sept. annual ARD notices.  It will be here before long. 

I'm going to a new type of exercise class today after school and report in tomorrow on how I like it.

Good morning all! I totally enjoyed my "no work" weekend, but it's time to hit the pavement again this morning, with a busy week ahead, I'm sure...

Again want to thank LIZ and ALISSA for the great dinner Saturday night! Wish I had been able to "work the room" more-I know there were peeps there I never even got to talk to. When I saw STEPH's FB pics, I saw peeps I didn't even know were there! Hate when I don't get to greet everyone-especially peeps who have not been to a dinner before...

Special prayers for students/teachers/parents for schools that start today. This is the first year since Corbin was 4 that I don't have a child starting school (and he's 21 now)..kinda bittersweet..Please drive safely...those short people sure like to dart out between cars...

Continued prayers for my beach bum sis, TERRY ANN-wish I was with her, so I could hug her scrawny neck..

It figures when Mom's hired hand started back to doing the mowing the power steering on the tractor would crap out.  Have to get it to the dealer to be fixed.  6 days till I meet Norma at DFW to go on vacation!
