One of the things I do....

Ya'll probably have heard by now that I've been scuba diving for years and am an underwater photographer. It's even more fun after WLS! Well, I also am getting back into topside photography now that I'm physically able to hike to the places I want to get to and carry my own equipment.

This isn't a glamor shot of me by any means, especially with those baggy 'skeeter' proof pants, but a year ago I wouldn't have even attempted it. I found out right quick I need to balance that camera bag on one hip with a water bottle on the other! We were at one of the local nature centers where they have 20+ ponds full of water lilies, lotus, cat tails, etc. I think we got about half way before we petered out after about 4 hours.

And a year ago you probably couldn't imagine strapping anything around your waist or found a strap large enough to go around.......  I remember when I got too big to strap a fanny pack around me.

Which nature center was this taken?

Thanks Dasie! These were taken at the Sheldon Nature Center off old Hwy 90, on the front side of Sheldon Reservoir. We've been driving past it for years and never noticed it!

That is great Dee!!! It is amazing how much you can do now after surgery.  Keep living life to the fullest and accomplish your dreams.
