I want to say thanks everyone that prayed for me yesterday for my job interview. I really appreciate it. I didn't want to put it on facebook since I have co-workers on there, even though the ones in my office knew. Its for a promotion. However, another gal that has interviewed has more experience so I probably won't get it. That's okay- its good experience.

I've decided to try actupuntcure for my pain. I have a referral for someone in FW and I called her yesterday but haven't heard back. At this point I'm willing to try anything. I see the doc tomorrow for another shot.

Good morning! ALISSA-if you don't get that position, it just wasn't meant to be-NOT because you're not GOOD ENOUGH. It may be that the position would mean more paperwork and less direct consumer time-and you wouldn't like that anyway!

Same old same old in my world-work work work-but I am blessed-not complaining..my back is better--but that's thanks to LIZ-not PT..I'm going to try going back to walking next week and progress exercise from there. I promise to stop if something starts to hurt!

My "non scale victory" would have to be having stuck to a pretty strick basic" food plan for 7 days (and the scale cooperated, but you said NON scale, so I won't tell that part). I plan to stay with it till 7 days before the cruise, then take a 3 week "break"-but not go hog wild crazy, of course. I'm hoping to offset whatever I gain on the cruise (planning ahead..lol)

 just hoping you are getting even a tiny bit of relief!

 Good morning everyone.

Just a quick drive by...I'm not sleeping great right now.  That means I probably have lots on my mind.  I have surgery in just over a week so I'm not surprised.  I'm still in a better mood than I was the last few weeks but I'm starting to drag a little bit.

Today I have a chiropractor appointment and then headed home to straighten the house up a little.

A non scale victory....the most memorable for me was the first time I realized a normal size towel...not one of the HUGE oversize bath sheets..but a normal towel wrapped all the way around me and overlapped when I got out of the shower.

Same-O, Same-O....the weather is cooler this morning, rain is predicted for the next 10 days. I'm just praying it stays a slow shower and not any frog strangling downpours or we'll flood again.

I have frequent NSV's. Or maybe I should just call them surpises as I discover this thinner self. For instance, I climbed into Beasts big ol' work truck this weekend and as I was buckling the seat belt I realized my purse, camera bag and water bottle were all sitting on the seat with me! In the past I barely fit between the door and the console, now I've got room for me and all my crap!

had this long post all typed out and OH ate it. So the so the hort version is is as follows:
didnt sleep worth a damn lat nite. So you know im gonna be fun to be around today lol.

However we have some fabulou door prize for the dinner this sat. Im really looking forward to seeing everyone.

we are almost at capicity for the room at Cristina they room holds 75 folk and we are about there. Of course there will be some last minute cancellation but e are pretty much stretching things as of yet (yippee!!!) So PLEASE make sure i have your name on the OH list as thats the list we are using as our final count down so to speak

So get the tropical paradise gear from the closet, suitcae, wherever... and lets have some FUN!!!!!

Morning Alissa,

Day 8 of my 9 day stretch and I have hardly slept in 3 days. Stresses of big event, new person on staff that doesn't get it and other things going on. But, I will persevere!!Glad my event is over at 1pm tomorrow!! Think I will treat myself to a Sbux in the morning!!!

Thursday night Ken is going to do pics of my jewelry for me to post on Fb and I think Fri I will spend the Morning in the recliner reading and then take my jewelry to Mom's office since a couple of people requested me to hold pieces till payday.

Please say a prayer for my friend who has had to send her child to a theraputic boarding school. She is really struggling with the courage to do it and the worry she has over the path her child has been going down.

Now, yall go out and make it a great day or just fake it!

I haven't ridden the train in months so let me pop on today.  I actually had a NSV yesterday~ I was in Walmart (where else) and an employee who was piercing my ears said I used to come thru her line a long time ago when she was a cashier but something was WAY DIFFERENT about me. 

Gina won't brag about herself cuz today is "NSV day" but I will do it for her.  She has been helping Corbin stick to his new diet and SHE lost THIRTEEN and a HALF pounds in ONE WEEK.  How's that for awesome this many years out??  Damn she is gonna be looking so fine by cruise time, we might have to lock her in her room.

I've got lots going on in my world regarding my jewelry business.  I've got a street fair (Garland Stampede) next month that I'll have a booth at plus a church one in November and I'll have my booth at the OH convention in November too.  I recently sold a couple of "weight loss" lockets to people and they were a big hit so hopefully I'll do good at the convention.  I keep hoping that this business will take off enough so that I can cut down to part time at my REAL work but I don't see that happening for a while.

 

Ok, short update.
I have plastics scheduled for this Friday the 20th. (not putting on FB) 
However, in the interim, I've had to have 2 Mammograms, a breast ultrasound, and am scheduled for an MRI tomorrow mornign that should be ready by Friday.
So, I have no idea whether or not it's going to happen or not at this point.  Regarding the breast, they "just want to check" a few more things, so now not only am I pissed that my plastics may not happen, i'm also worried about cancer.
