Its back to work for me today. I'm nervous about being in pain BUT, I have to work. As it stands now I'll be going leave without pay for part of the cruise, but that's okay because I'm cruising no matter what!

The doctor Monday didn't have the best news. He said that any treatment we do now is a roll of the dice if it will help the burning and pain I am feeling and he said some people just have to learn to live with it. I just burst into tears because I don't believe I can learn to live with this and I'm not willing to take that as an answer. He said he'd try some shots right into the nerves that were affected by the surgery and see if that helps. BUT if not, I will need to see a pain management doctor so they can treat it at the spinal cord level. I hope and pray it doesn't come to that.

My driver Liz will be taking me to and from work today. Tomorrow I will drive because I have to visit an applicant in their home. Fingers crossed I can drive without too much pain.

I'm excited about the dinner on the 21st. However, keep in mind the room only holds 70 people and we're getting VERY close. So if you haven't RSVP'd then you may be out of luck. We will be in a seperate building from the restaurant, so we can't just move further out into the restaurant. Also, if you RSVP'd that you are coming but cannot, please let Liz know.

I hope everyone has a great wacky woo hoo Wednesday!!!

Good morning.  Going into the 3rd day of work for this school year.  The days are going by fairly quickly.  Home after work.  I'm planning on a friend at work giving me my iron and B12 shots today.  I haven't had them all summer and need them!

Prayers for all who need them.

Happy birthday Laura Mulholland.

Have a great Hump Day.

Good morning all! Usual busy day in my world-but busy is good--it means I'm gainfully employed and have a home to take care of. Planning to do some pre-planning/cooking tonight, for lunches/dinners-been slacking in that dept, and the *****in-the-box has caught me...

ALISSA-nerve pain is the WORST-I feel for you-sure hope you can find someone who can help-do NOT give up-glad you have LIZ to drive you

LIZ-how's the head?

KARLA-Don't overdo it on the job yet-you have about 200 days to go..lol

Special thoughts for all in need. There are members of our TMB family going thru personal strife and they need us Prayer Warriors. Their "specific" needs are not mine to post-and it's not necessary. Just pray, if you are so inclined-okay? The TMB Prayers Warriors have proven their strength over and over!!!

My WEDNESDAY WOOHOO goes to my Nephew/Boot Camp Trainer, who has inspires me so very much. His name is Taylor and he's on my Facebook profile. My FB friends are sick of hearing about. Taylor won the Heavyweight Chaimpionship Body Whatever in Austin this past Saturday. He has made me WANT to exercise when NOBODY else could. Myback is feeling better and I'm hoping to return to boot camp-at some level-next week. Taylor said we'd work at whatever "level" I can stand-that's how great he is

Oops...I'm late...hair is congealed and still sitting here in my gown...not good...byyyyeeeeee....

Good morning all!!  I haven't been good about logging on, trying to play catch up after the super busy weekend and time off from work.  I had such an amazing visit with Mom and Dad, the shower was incredible and I'm so thankful I have such wonderful friends!  My Mom kept saying how great it was that I have so many caring people in my life.  I couldn't agree more!!

I started off today working on lists of things to get and things to do around the house. I'm hoping by writing it down I won't forget any major things.  I'm sure there will be things that are forgotten or just not done, but I'm hoping it's only little stuff.  I worked on the nursery some last night and managed to put some things away.  We're waiting on a couple of new furniture pieces to come in, and for Jeff to refinish one piece before we can put the final touches on it.

Jeff is going to Quakecon (computer gaming convention) tomorrow through Sunday so I'll be in a very very quiet house for a few days.  I'll probably head up there once over the weekend, but I'm not sure I want to wait through the lines to get in, so we'll see.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Debbi,

How funny.  A co-worker told me today he was going to a computer gaming convention and would be gone until Sunday... I'll bet they are there together... I think they were expecting...3,000?

My son does the board game conventions.  Geez, what geeks we have around here...
