Sultry Sunday WL Express...

Hey Texas friends!

Its going to be one of those hot sultry days we should all be sitting on the porch in a rocking chair sipping on a mint julep.  I have the ac cranked in the lounge car so everyone hop aboard. 

 Good morning everyone.

I'm about to go start sipping on my coffee for the day but I'm sitting here for the first time since Tuesday without a sore or aching tummy.  I went to bed late and woke up at my 'normal' time so I'm still tired but I'm feeling great.  I just hope it stays like this.

Yesterday we ended up hopping over to a friends house.  They had a small group of friends over so it was really nice to get out and be a little social.  We also dropped my serger (sewing machine) off to be serviced and got the fantastic news that it will be done next week.  Provided I'm up to it I can actually start sewing new medieval clothing for myself NEXT SUNDAY.  I'm terribly excited.

Tomorrow I have my chiropractor's appointment.  Due to tummy issues I canceled both my treatment adjustments last week so I'm really starting to feel it.  I know after tomorrow I'll be loads better in the back department.

But today....I feel like relaxing on the couch and a nap will be in order.

Jenn! Thanks for getting us started. Sorry I'm MIA. I've been enjoying time with my husband. We had a great time at the support group at IKEA. Sorry I didn't get to come down and visit with everyone but being in the wheelchair kind of limited my movement. Then we had a rest at our wonderful hotel-Holiday Inn Express and it was a beautiful room. Then off to the baby shower where everything was great. Jenny makes a great cake ball and adorable duck cupcakes! She's a true hostess with the mostess. Annette kept everything running smoothly.
We went back for a rest and then off to Stonebriar. Bryan pushing me in the wheelchair and shopping some was fun. I got 2 necklaces for my b-day and some Godiva. So yesterday was NOT a low-cal day. I have been good today though. It was just so nice to get away and spend some quiet time with my sweetie.

I'm home and resting. My foot has had it. I was very good-kept it elevated almost all the time-even in the car, but I ended up in excrutiating pain today. I am just freaking fed up. I don't know what else to do.
I try not to be all gloom and doom about it, but its just getting to me.

Sucking 100+ degree heat again today is not what I had on my agenda but we all know sh** happens!  Compliments of a dirty air filter and a burnt spark plug I was not able to finsh my yard last night.  Needless to say I have to go chase what I need to hopefully fix mower and get it finished.  Since I'll be all funky might as well mow over at my mothers today as well.

Not to jinx it but had major movement on the job front this week and I'll leave it at that for now.  <-------- maybe just maybe it will come to pass.

Hello everyone,

I am on vacation this week, so my sister and I are heading down to Austin to do some shopping at the outlet malls in San Marcos for a couple of days.

I plan to do some serious shopping if the heat don't kill me.
