Good morning and all aboard!!!

Its Saturday! We will be headed out in a bit to take Chris to my sisters. Then we're headed to IKEA and then to a hotel in Frisco for me to rest. Bryan will take me to the baby shower and then we're going to spend quality time together in Frisco and spend the night and then head back Sunday. Its my birthday gift- to get some time away from it all. I'll be either in the wheelchair or the knee walker so no worries there. I'll have to put my foot up wherever I go but I think it will be okay. I'm so excited to see eveyone at both places.

Prayers continue for Lynnette and her family. Any word on how Kim is doing?

Good morning Alissa.  Sounds like you will have a full day today.  Have a great time at Debi's shower.  I wi**** wasn't so far away from here. 

I'm just hanging around the house cleaning today.  It needs it after moving all of Ben's furniture and stuff out and tromping in and out.
I start work Monday, so need to take care of it today.

Beast and I are leaving soon to get out early and take some pictures. He found a nature center at one of the local reservoirs we didn't know was there so we're gonna make a day of it...at least until it gets too hot! I've got us a good finger foods lunch packed, the cooler full of water just needs some ice and we'll be out of here as soon as breakfast settles.

 Good morning all.

Last night wasn't such a good night for me.  :(  My surgeon told me on Thursday to stay away from fats because that is most likely what triggers gall bladder attacks, if that is what in fact I have.  So last night Clint and I thought we'd go treat Melanie to see Despicable Me (finally).  Got the tickets online and then headed out to dinner.  We decided to go to Sweet Tomatoes.  Its a giant soup/salad type bar.  Really good.  Not tons of protein options but enough and lots of green veggies to keep me away from even a bite of anything tempting.

I had a salad with spinach, lots of fresh veggies and some fat free dressing on the side.  I also had a small cup of their low fat turkey and 3 bean chili.  After dinner we ran over to Joannes to get something needed for today....and the pain started to kick in.  Yep....never came on as strongly as Tuesday but we came home to sit a little bit before the movie.  Never got to feeling better so Clint took Mel to the movie (there goes my $10 ticket price) and I stayed home, took a hot bath to calm my tummy down and went to bed.

I'm feeling back to better this morning but I'm going to stick to soft foods only for the next 3 days until my tests.  Yes...it sucks but I'm not in the mood to feel like that again.  I'm frankly starting to get a little pissed about it. 

I am still determined to have a great weekend.  Probably why I want to go so conservative with my food...I can't have a good weekend if I'm constantly feeling sick.

Good morning all!  I'm about to head out the door to go pick up Mom and Dad and go to IKEA.  We're going to hang with the group for a little while, then go do some wandering around the store.  I'm so excited about the shower today, mainly because I'll get to see a bunch of people I love that I don't get to see very often!  Also, Jeff is coming too (of his own accord) and I love seeing him get excited about the baby.

Yesterday was another incredibly busy day.  We started off at Home Depot picking up stuff for multiple projects around the house, and in the process walked around the store at least 3 times.  Then we went to The Thrift Store in Plano and picked up some stuff for my niece & nephew.  Quick stop at Dickey's so Mom could have BBQ while they were in Texas, then we went up to the new Allen mall and bought some closet storage stuff at the Container Store.  Next stop was Macy's for Mom and then Fashion Bug for me.  I finally gave in and told Mom I was DONE shopping!  LOL, I was completely worn out.

We picked up Jeff's Mom and then headed to our place where the whole family congregated for pizza and projects.  It took several hours, but Jeff and the Dads got our TV mounted on the wall above our fireplace and it makes a huge difference in the amount of space in our living room.  We also got some mesh put up on the patio fence so Leo can't escape and we can enjoy being outside without worrying about him.

OK, gotta run a quick errand before I get Mom & Dad so I better hit the road.  Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I have accomplished cleaning my kitchen and eating a pickle for breakfast. (Yes - I know what a healthy breakfast.......)

Off to shower, then head to laundrymat with my wonderful husband. Once that is done, we are going to go visit w/ my mama at her assisted living center home and pick up from a friend a bunch of stuff for our grandbaby who is due in 4 months. (Hopeful the baby is a boy as one of the boxes is all boys clothes. But, I figure if the baby is a girl - when she is here at our house - which will be often - the clothes can still be worn....Without her mother knowing of course.)
Tomorrow going to start research on how my son can get custody of the baby once it is born. Not going to go into details, but it is in the best interest of the baby.

Good Morning all!! Slept 10 hrs and feeling great! Had big storm here last night ..yeah! Going to Plano for baby shower today and maybe a stop at the Rock Barrel on the wat home for supplies. Sold 2 necklaces yesterday so yeah and lost 3 lbs!

Hope all have a great weekend go out and make it a great one or just fake it!!

WOW looks like everyone has a busy day ahead.  At my mom's in beaumont, we got in a bit after midnight.  it was just toooo hot to travel with the huskies earlier in the day yesterday.  I realized how much i DONT miss the humidity here lol.  Dogs are having fun with Nana and im off to visit my friend's dad. Yall stay cool and hydrated
