First of all, Mari, CONGRATS on the job! WOOHOO! 
Thanks Karla and Alissa for asking... I figured I'd better post a darn update since I have not done so...
I am actually feeling GREAT considering. Not really any incisional pain anymore, an occasional ache if I breathe in deep, but I'm to the point where I don't even need tylenol to get through the day! The only time I'm really having any pain is when I lay down at night... Have some trapped air that's settled into my right shoulder area. Eeek. Happens every time. But it's still no biggie! If it weren't for that, I wouldn't even remember I just had surgery last week!
Alissa, sorry about your foot. I really hope it isn't nerve damage which means more surgery. Take it easy and keep us updated, please. You have had to deal with too much!
Karla, good luck with the moving tomorrow, and stay hydrated and as cool as possible, if that's possible in this Texas heat!
And did Jen ever post any more updates on the sale of the house? The last I saw was that the inspection and everything had come back and things were still going smoothly....

so glad to hear you are feeling better. Dang trapped gas!! OMG thats the worse! Im sure you know this, but try sleeping on your right side, that helps.. and also the gas x thin strips also. Walk as much as possible to help it leave your body.
