Well..it's 6:38 and I don;t see a TRAIN on the tracks, so let me stoke one up...It's WEDNESDAY....What's your WOOHOO??? Remember-it does NOT have to be a NUMBER on that stupid box on the floor!!

 

 

 

Guess Gina and I cranked the WLS up at the same time!  I deleted mine.

I have a busy day loading up Ben's furniture and apartment stuff in a UHaul this morning.  I hope to get in a nap this afternoon.  Tomorrow is moving day.

Prayers for Alissa, Dana, Karen, Vivian, Kim G, Que and all others who have had surgery lately...sorry if I left someone out there's been so many.

Good morning all!!! Hope you are staying hydrated in the heat (you notice I didn't say "staying cool"-I gave up on THAT!

I love reading WOOHOOs, so I hope y'all will share sme , so I can read them, when I can get back to the computer tonight. For MY WOOHOO, I'll pick my nephew's wedding this weekend. I've not met his fiance or any of her family. Normally something like that would throw me right off a cliff..but NOW...my biggest stress is which of the CUTE dresses, in my closet, -many from LYNNETTE,  to wear to the wedding. I am not at all stressing over meeting new people.

Prayers to all spoken -and especially to the unspoken and to those who THINK they don't NEED prayers-cuz they need them the MOST

Going to be the "good" ex-hubby and go with the ex-wife to see Dr. Babineaux in Tyler.  It is her two year surgiversary visit.  Any excuse to get to a Starbucks and stay out of the heat will do!

 Hey Texas peeps!

I'm in recovery from yesterday.  I left work with the most horrible abdominal pains I've had since surgery.  Like, I went into the break room and rolled around on the floor in pain for an hour before I finally decided to call it a day.  The pain stuck with me all afternoon and all evening...I finally woke up some time around 4am and for the first time it didn't feel like I had a knife in my gut.  I am really really REALLY hoping I just had some trapped gas...my friend who is 5 years post op said she's had spells with gas that were that bad and lasted a good 24 hours.  I am going to call in to my surgeon's office this morning and go in.  The pain was bad enough and lasted long enough that I came pretty near hitting the panic button last night.

I still hurt but it isn't debilitating any more.

So tired....I barely slept so I have a headache on top of the residual pain.

I'll check in when I'm home from the doctor.  If you can spare a happy or positive thought I'd appreciate a few being sent my way.

 Jenn......so sorry you were in such pain.   PLEASE find out where it is coming from......sounds like my pain from the hernia.    It was undetectable except by the CT Scan.    I will be looking for your update later.   Prayers being said for you today and hope you get some answers later and relief.    Morning TMB.     My WOO HOO today is my youngest son's job at YMCA Camp Carter is ending and he was needing a part time job so he can pay his car payment on his new Civic.      He went and applied at our church's day care yesterday and was hired on the spot and for $.25 more than his asking price.   WOO HOO for that.    I go for my follow up visit at the doc's today and his support group is this evening.     Prayers for everyone healing from surgery and illness too.     Be careful Karla and don't strain anything loading that UHaul for Ben....that is really hard work....but think of the burned calories !!   WOW.   Que.....hope you are doing OK and that you will be able to see so much better.   Have a great day !!!

Good morning! I'm on much later because I have no place to go today or tomorrow or the next day- I'm on "bedrest" and have been ordered to stay home and off the foot until I see him again Monday. Liz is going up to my work today to get my laptop and a knee walker that I'm borrowing from a coworker. My co worker has had enough foot problems that she actually bought one and thankfully she isn't in need of it. So rather than rent one (that the insurance doesn't pay for,I'm borrowing hers. I'm pretty bummed about being stuck in my recliner but hopefully just for a few days. The doctor is concerned I'm developing a nerve condition that will have to be treated at the spinal cord level instead of pain medication. So he wants me to take it easy. My WOO HOO is that I've got a great caretaker here with me, to help me, and to entertain me. I'm so thankful for that!

Que-how's the eye? Been thinking about you. Dana- how are you recovering? Kim? Viv?

Been up a while and about to head to the shower to i can head to Ft worth to get my patient's things :)
My woohoo is monday night  I went for a ride on Allissa's new bicycle!! My first bike ride since i was a teen.  I didnt fall! lol.  Actually its just like they say.... just like riding a bike.  I wobbled for a minute and then was off.  Only rode for a mile and half and bryan was kind enough to take that instead of his usual 2 miles (at his usual speed) but im counting that as a woohoo as that was a mile and half that i wasnt riding the sofa :)

Hey You Guys!

My wohoo for the day.....well for the week...I turned in my resignation at my current employer and am going back to my previous one. Unfortunately- I am taking a paycut of $16000-$22000 yearly. Fortunately- it is worth not dealing with the stress. Sometimes there's JUST NOT enough money in the world.

I am looking forward to Debbi's shower this weekend. I bought something a long time ago and am so glad to finally get it to her.

We are currently trying to get the kids off to school. Chase leased his first apartment. He called yesterday and got the electricity set up to turn on when he moves in. He will be in Denton. I have so much furniture that we won't have to buy him much luckily. Kaylee goes off to Georgia in about a week and a half. We are still playing phone tag with the university on a couple of different things- mostly about orientation. I think the school is a good fit for her, I just wi**** were a few hundred miles closer to home.
