Yep.....I am with you Phyllis. I have been back on track for one week now and I am down 6 lbs. as of this AM. Call me if you need encouragement.

That is my plan. I know the weight didn't come on over night. I wish I wasn't a stress eater and let my kids get to me but they do and I am. But now I am finally determined to get this re-gain off and I know that I can do this. Proud of you today too . I have never done a Boot Camp but the words....tell me how hard that they are. LOL Good luck !!!!

We started Boot Camp this morning and cleaned out the refrigerator and pantry last night before the trash came this morning. Boot Camp requires food logs and if you don't bring them it's a 60 sit up penalty. How's that for motivation to remember to log every bite?!?
Anyway, before I started eating dinner (which I'm eating while typing), I was at 681 calories for the day and have already gotten my 8 glasses of water in. Oddly, I'm usually a complete sugar free chewing gum addict at the office - I usually chew an entire 14-piece pack every day - but today, it was 2:30 before I even thought about gum and I only had 5 pieces throughout the afternoon.
We all can do this. Let me know what I can do to help motivate!

WOW boot camp. Don't think I am in good enough shape to do that. I did get back to the gym yesterday. Met with a personal trainer and hope to stay motivated. Took a zumba class today and got totally lost. too much to concentrate on...feet...hands...hips...by the time I learn the routines they will be on to new stuff. And fast???? I am exhausted. I stayed throught the entire class and did most of the stuff. i am sure I'll get better, can't get worse.
Based on how my body feels today, I'm not in good enough shape, either, but this should help push me back in the right direction.
Keep it up on the gym. I let myself get distracted with losing my job, moving, starting a new job, etc. and lost a lot of tone. It's hard to kick it back in to gear once you're out of the habit.

I'd laugh, but it hurts too much.
OK, from Saturday, if you're late 20 push-up penalty. If you don't have your food logs 60 sit-up penalty. Recommended caloric intake to maintain or gain weight (because of muscle build) is 1200 calories. To lose, cut to 800-1200.
Did you get the recommended foods printouts? If not, I have an extra set and will bring them to you in the morning.
Sparkpeople won't let you program in an 800 calorie diet, so I did 1000-1200 and set goals of 40% protein, 30% carbs and 30% fat. I did pretty good yesterday (1200 cals, 32% carb, 33% fat, 36% protein and all of the carbs were whole grain or veggies). Today, I'm struggling, but if I remember correctly from before, I'm always hungrier on recovery days, so I'm hoping I will still get results from the efforts.
Tomorrow's workout better be upper body or I'm not going to be able to walk by Thursday.
