Hi George;

I was thinking of you earlier today and haven't had time to post. Busy, busy day.

The sale of the house is progressing. Right now, we're scheduled for closing on 8/30. All of the repairs were made last week and as far as we know the appraisal has gone through as well. We ended up taking a loan off of Michael's 401K to eliminate the immediate financial stress it was creating. We don't have to go to SAT for closing, so that's good. I'm planning to take the first full week after closing off of work to completely decompress.

Work is busy. It's not the ideal place for me, but it's a steady paycheck and it's kept us afloat with two house payments for the last 9 months. I'm still looking, but I'm trying to accept this is the place I'm supposed to be right now.

And, on a health front, we started a 2 week long Boot Camp this morning along with completely revamping our eating (notice I don't use the four-letter "d" word). Hopefully, there will be a pleasant difference in my body by a week from Friday.

That's the latest with us. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

First off, regarding the house sale, just remember, every day is a day closer, no matter when it is.

Good idea for you to take the week off afterward.  It has been a lot of stress on you.

Regarding work, I have a coworker who was demoted from a management position as a supervisor to an hourly position as a lead.  Her comment:  "I still have a paycheck.  There are a lot of people out there that can't say that."

Boot camp.  Better you than me.  It's neat that you are doing it together.  Good luck with it.  I have to revamp my eating too.  I started it today.  Cutting down on the junk.  Not cutting it out, just cutting down.  I have a lot of it in the house, but I have to get over the idea that if it is in the house, I HAVE  TO  EAT  IT  TODAY.    I think I took the first step today.  Baby steps.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Regarding the lower offer submitted to the potential buyer, they did not accept it, and will not increase their original offer in any way, shape, or form.  So we are back to square one.  The original listing was for three months, and we have relisted the house for an additional three months with the same realtor, with a reduction in price as well.  Trying to be somewhat competitive with a short sell that has come on the market and another house that has reduced their price as well.
