 Hey there!

I wish I could post on this thread more often but it usually doesn't get going until I'm at work and I can't check the lists from my computer (we have internet access but the web Nazis track us).  I really need to get an upgraded phone so I have better web access and can post to threads from there on my breaks at work.

Besides my water and liquids (about to pour my morning coffee)
Early breakfast-protein bar (mine are home made)
Later breakfast-an egg or bite of something at Vivian's support group meeting
Lunch-protein shake
Dinner-Mexican meatloaves made in a muffin tin.   I've had a recipe idea in my head and want to try it out.  Peas on the side and then a slice of protein cake for desert.

Have a wonderful day all!

 Morning Karla,

I will be headed out to our Sunny Street Support breakfast in a little bit.    Not many plans today....I have one cup of coffee down and my vitamins.    Not sure what I am going to order at the restaurant.  Today will be my first day back on regular diet since Steph's BBQ.    I have dropped 5.5 lbs.   I am going to be very careful to try to keep them off and I would like to lose about another 6 to 8 lbs.    We will have to see if any of this happens.....time will tell.   LOL   HOpe you have a great weekend.    I have been invited to my great niece's birthday party this afternoon.    Not sure if I will go or not.   I am trying to take it easy and recover from this hernia surgery.      Besides...my clothes choices are very limited I am so sore and most things are tight around my midsection and press on the incisions.    Anyway have a great weekend and please stay hydrated everyone !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I had spaghetti squash hash browns again this morning...I love those things! I don't know what the day will bring, we'll be away from home most of the day doing stuff from grocery shopping to checking out a new wildlife area we found. I've packed a lunch to have with us just in case.

B....squash hash browns, scrambled eggs
L...ham roll ups, slaw salad, fruit, cheese sticks, protein cake
D....probably SW chicken
S.....chai tea

What are squash hashbrowns? is this something you make yourself? if you have the recipe please share. I love squash but my wife and kids do not but maybe a dish like this will get them to eat them.

Yeah, it's something I came up with a couple days ago. I was craving some hash browns and had some left over spaghetti squash so....squash hash browns! Spaghetti squash has a light sweet flavor and golden colored, they remind me of those Yukon Gold potatoes. I took about half a cup, added some finely chopped onion and fresh ground pepper. Sprayed Pam in a small skillet and cooked them just as I would regular hash browns. Without the starch that potatoes have they don't stick together but that's OK because they brown up and get crispy.  Beast made some this morning with some pan sausage crumbled up in them. Smelled delicious and he said they were!

I'm working on a sweet dish but it needs tweaking.
