July 30th---3 yr Surgiversary
Three years ago on July 3oth I went into surgery to have my RNY Gastric Bypass weighing 270 lbs! I had lost 30 pounds since my consultation with Dr Dyslin and 30 more pounds since I had decided to have the surgery two years earlier! It took me two years to get to the operating room and I was sooooo excited! I said to my Gentle Giant of a Dr ( He is 6' 7" and I am 5'2") "let's get this show on the road and don't forget to make me a dumper!!!"
Here I am 3 yrs later at goal, have been maintaining for 1.5 yrs! Now it has been a very bumpy road for me. Sixteen hospital visits including 8 surgeries and six or seven scopes and tube feedings and various other maladies. But i am strong, healthy, my lab work is great, I am a size 0 to size 8 depending on what it is I am wearing. i fit in all bathroom stall, booths and chairs, airline seats are no problem, I can even tie my shoes without getting winded!
Thank you all for the love and support from my Tmb family and friends, my dear, sweet, loyal, patient,loving and kind husband Ken. And thank you to my hunongous medical team that has worked so well together to keep me alive and fixed and up and living and moving!!! Yall are all my rocks!!

Living Small in a Large Way!!
