 Good morning Texas peeps!

I sure hope today is better than yesterday ended.  I had some MASSIVE hormone surge or something and basically got mad mad MAD! at the whole world.  Went to bed at 8pm without eating I was so ticked off.

But today is a new day.  I still have the dregs of my mad but I'm hoping I can talk myself out of it.  I alone make the choice for it to be a good day or not.

Do I like dancing...um...the simple word is YES!  All kinds but I'm particularly in love with my current dance form which is American Tribal Style belly dancing.  In fact Saturday night I'm headed to a belly dance performance.  There will be about 20 performances...it will be wonderful!

I'll also be at the support meeting in Haltom City tomorrow.  Hope to meet some of you there!

I wanted to take a belly dancing class. In fact I'd signed up for one 2 years ago and then had my appendix out and had to drop the class before it even started. It looks like such good exercise.

We will be at the support group at HEB Central Market in Fort Worth, so maybe we'll get to meet you at the dinner August 21st??

Its probably a good thing I didn't realize there was a support group at Central Market.  I would be spending my ENTIRE paycheck after the meeting...  That's supporting the economy...right???  Maybe I'll head to that one next month and meet you all!

If you are interested in picking a belly dance class up, there is a great instructor at the Hurst community center.  A session for non resident is only $40.  If you wan more info let me know!

Good morning! I'm up but not at em. lol. I can get up and walk in the boot some. It was really hurting last night and its throbbing some today so I just took some more pain medication. The problem is that it makes me itch something HORRIBLE. I'm taking 2 Benedryl with it and still itchy. So I'll be calling the doctor this morning to see about taking something else. Other than that I'm doing well. The surgery went well. If this doesn't provide total relief he'll do injections to kill the nerve that got damanged from the screw. He told me pre-op that between the surgery and injections I should experience about 80 percent relief. So not perfect but much better! Liz has been taking great care of me.

UGH- highs in the triple digits all week with no rain. Just saw the news. NO fun.

ALISSA-thanks for asking-you're always so sweet to think of others. Yesterday's PT went better than the first one-I liked the therapist real well. She focosed on the hurt nerves and did alot of "teaching"-which I desperately need. My "homework" involves alot of lying on my back-on an ice pack-with my legs on on a chair-might be tricky to do away from home...but you know ME--I'll find a way if it will get me well quicker!!

I didn't answer my own question- hate it when I do that!! I love to dance but I totally suck at it so I won't dance in public. I've taken C&W lessons- about 4 of them 10 years ago. I know the mechanics of what I'm supposed to do but my feet don't get the full memo! So I just dream of dancing.

And to answer the question..I have the rhythm of a white girl from Johnson County...that pretty well says it all..
