Frozen Strawberry Whip
This is a great cold treat for a hot summer day!!
Frozen Strawberry Whip
2 tsp. Just Whites powdered egg white
2 tbsp. water
1 pound chopped fresh strawberries (or 1 lb. no sugar added frozen, thawed)
1/2 to 1 C. Splenda granular (to taste)
Put powdered egg white and water in large bowl. Whis****il light and fluffy. With a hand mixer on medium speed, start adding in Splenda, then chopped strawberries until mixed in well. Then turn mixer to high and keep mixing until the volume increases and the bowl is full. Put into a decorative bowl and freeze at least 4 hours.
The entire recipe is only about 160 calories. It is quite refreshing, light, and delicious!
(The original recipe called for one raw egg white, but since it's not cooked, there is a risk of salmonella, so I use the dried ones. It's in the baking aisle of the grocery store.)
