Dr. Michael Green Jr.

 Hello OH Family,

Have anyone had Dr. Michael Green Jr as your surgeon? If so, what was your experience!

Yes, he will be my surgeon, hopefully, when he and Dr. Reddy decide whether or not my heart will stand up to surgery.
My best friend was not at all comfortable with the idea of my having surgery, so I asked her to go to his seminar. (I hadn't met him yet) (We're both retired nurses, so we're not too crazy about doctors)
So, we listened, and as we walked out we both decided that we felt very
comfortable with him and now she's my #1 cheerleader.
I felt even more comfortable with him the 2nd time I talked to him.
You must talk to Que and Thomas Rust, and Chris. (he has the 3 eyed

Dr. Green is their doc.

I feel pretty comfortable with him as well. I have had all my test done and I am waiting on my insurance to approve. Dr. Green had me to choose a date before they submitted my paper owrk to insurance. I choose the 10th of August. I pray that the insurance say yes. Ready to get my new life started.

I'm not to terribly crazy about his office staff, they've screwed up a couple of times, and they should've told me about needing a new cardiac clearance earlier.
this heart thing is the only thing holding up progress.
If I can have surgery, I'm scheduled for 8/12.
I was scheduled for July 29, but that's one of the things they screwed up on.
I hope the Garland ppl are more competent.
I think I'll call the office manager and complain to her about this.
Too bad we won't be at the same hospital, we could visit.

Yep, we used him and get this - on August 10th - 2006.  We adore him and I love the guy.  My husband had complications and he stood by us every step of the way.

Tom will tell you he would do it all over again.  My son Adam has a band by Dr. G, and my other son is pending with him.

Sue is right about the office staff.  They have all turned over since we had our surgery and they are not as great as what he had.

Dr. Green is also my doctor.  I am 6 months out (1/20/10) And I love him for "Saving my LIFE"!!!!  His professionalism never changes whether it's in his office or in the hospital.  

 In the beginning I had trouble getting his assistant to return my calls..(she is no longer there) but other than that, I have had no problems with them. 

 I felt very confident in him being my only choice of surgeons.  Good Luck on your up coming surgery.  Please keep us posted on your progress.

Mine has AGAIN!!!!!!!!
I told the nurse I was getting really tired of them moving that brass ring out of my reach again.
And to the person that posted before this post, (sorry, I can't remember your name) may I point out that YOU saved your life. Dr. Green helped you with one of the tools.
Take the credit darlin', you deserve it!!!!!!!
Maybe I'll go work for him when I've lost weight, then he'd have one competent person.

Dwanny. No, no postpone. I just spoke with the office again today to fax my paperwork to them for my timeoff at work. And I am on schedule for August 10th. Surgery is at 1:00 at Doctor's Hospital.

I am sooo sorry that they keep delaying yours. I am sure that you are as ready as I am. What date has they given you now?

I have no date at this time, as they told me as soon as I get my cardiac clearance to call them.
I was told that they could get me in, ASAP once my clearance comes.
I informed them I was getting sick and tired of being jerked around. I know Dr. Green can't help the court thing, but the staff screwed up on the other surgery date. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
I'm more than ready!!!! I should've had it yesterday, but as I said, the staff screwed up!
I go for my heart cath Monday, and then find out what's what for my heart.
