What a week we have all had....BUT IT'S FRIDAY!!!

Yes it has been a very long week...one of the girls in the office has been out on vacation this week, so I have been pulling double duty to get payroll reports and quarterly financials done.  Thank Goodness she will be back on Monday, and I am going to take the entire day off then.  I am having more work done at my house.  You know it is one of those things where one project starts and it keeps going, and going, and going some more.

NORMA-you mean like when you buy a $40 sconce from Home Interior and it leads to redoing the bedtine to the tune of over $500 in paint, curtains, etc??? yep--that would ME!

Well, I have already told you how the bathroom light fixtures got dusted and cleaned....lets talk about the bath towel rack and toilet paper holder.  Remember a few weeks ago I was having the interior painted.  So, I am removing everything from the walls, switch plate covers, electrical outlet covers, and the towel racks...you get the drift.  On one of the towel racks, I am removing the little screw that holds the towel rack to the wall, the screw head broke.  So between me and the painter we had to pry off the towel rack with sheer force.  It was a very generic towel rack...nothing special, so now I am replacing all three towel racks and toilet paper holders.  Simple project, right???  Wrong!!!  The old towel rack only needed one screw to hold it to the wall...this one needs two.  No problem, I have a power drill...I can use that, and it wont take me nothing flat to do the towel rack and toilet paper holder for all three bathrooms.  It takes me forever to do one screw for one towel rack.  So that is project #1 to be done on Monday.

Project #2...He is also going to be pressure washing my back deck (34' long), replace a couple of top running boards, and stain and seal the wood.

Project #3...I am having the exterior of the house pressure washed and painted.

I hope I am near the end of line of all these remodeling projects.

I know I shouldn't be wishing my life away, but I will be soooooo glad when this next 10 hours is OVER. I'm not even coming home aftre work-just heading straight to my weekend peep plans! I'll have a killer work day-my "partner" put alot alot of crap off, then decided to take the day off ('Bless her heart", in my best LYNNETTE voice)..so we all know WHOM will get the calls/fall out..sigh..double sigh...good thing I'm tough and have God behind me!!!!

My mom called last night to ask about where we're having my birthday dinner tomorrow-just could NOT understand WHY we are putting it off until Sunday...told her it's cuz Corbin has to work..didn't mention "the people in the box" and how I'd WHOLE rather spend time with my CHOSEN family..please don't tell her-I might not get my usual $20 gift card...

Warpaint time-when you have a terminal diagnosis it's not fair to expect to have see me without warpaint..that's just un-necessary cruelty...

Good morning! I'm on later than normal because I overslept-AGAIN! I don't know what is wrong with me. I've never been one to turn the alarm off and fall back asleep. Thankfully this time it wasn't too late and I got to work on time. Yesterday I was 15 minutes late though I did take Chris to my sister's for the day so I guess I wouldn't have been late then either. I am just out of sorts when that happens though. Grr...

Gina-have a great birthday both tomorrow and Sunday. I'm sure your mama will still get you your $20 gift card! Love you and your great sense of humor!

Hope everyone that is traveling to the BBQ has safe travels and that ya'll have alot of fun!

I have been so tired- I think its from the heat but mostly the pain as I'm just in tears by the time I get home. I am ready for the surgery in 6 days. I just hope and pray it does the trick. If not, I just might have a breakdown, because I'm pretty close to one each afternoon/evening. I'm just soooo tired of this. And I'm sure ya'll are tired of hearing about it too. Sorry.

Good morning!  I'm the only one up so far at the Gaida's...well the pugs are up and at 'em too.  Oops...I think Paige just got up and hopped in the shower so I'm wrong.  Steph needed sleep because she only got 4 or so hrs the night before and shopped all day so it's good she's sleeping.

We have tents to set up, dishes to wash, floors to mop, and groceries to buy plus cooking some stuff.

Can't wait to see some  OH friends today and tomorrow.

Dragging in in hanging on the back of the train!! Just got to get through today then off for the weekend!! Woo hoo!! May leave a little early if it is slow...really grouchy pouch today after my foray with a sugar free but really rich dessert last night! Yall make it a great day or fake it!!

If it has not been duly noted yet the Cowboys go back to training camp this weekend!!  The Universe will be back in balance!!

FYI:  I retired my license plate and am human again.
